Men and The Bible. pt.2.
Their Responsibility to his Wife.

If the men of today would read and understand the scriptures, we would see less spousial abuse, for a woman was not put into this life to be beat upon or abused, this action constitutes sin.

Let us read a little and understand the importance of a wife among men.

"And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?"
The main reason many leave home is for the addition of a wife. A wife indicates a completeness within a mans life. He is otherwise alone within himself. This is not to say that a man should not marry, even thou the Apostiel Paul remained so. We see the only reasons that a man should remain unmarried from Jesus.

"His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb:(Unable to have sexual relationship with a woman.) and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men:(Done without consent, or for other reasons.)(The Egyptian Pharoes used this many times for their male servants.) and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake.(These chose selabiecy, to serve the Lord fully.) He that is able to receive it, let him receive it."

The last verse states that if a man would fit into any of these catigories, he is able to become selabiate, but if not, it is good and proper to marry.

These statments from the Lord, along with others negates, or disallows homosexual bonds. There is no instance in scripoture that God allows the same sexs to marry. For as it is stated, these are an abomination.

"Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband."

As Paul stated here, a man who is not, nor will become, a unich, should marry to prevent him from comitting fornication, which is;
Looseness; irregular indulgence of animal desires; wantonness; lustfulness.
(Who, being past feeling(Not careing.), have given themselves over to lasciviousness. Eph 4.)
Tendency to excite lust, and promote irregular indulgences.

This is why there is homosexuality in the world, not only today but for thousands of years. So you can start seeing the reason for a man to find and keep a good wife, for the Bible states that a man that finds a wife, finds a good thing.

Due Benevolence.
"Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife."
J.F.B. states of these verses;
(Quote.)
1Co 7:3-4
The duty of cohabitation on the part of the married.
due benevolence — The oldest manuscripts read simply, “her due”; that is, the conjugal cohabitation due by the marriage contract. (compare 1Co_7:4).

1Co 7:4
A paradox. She hath not power over her body, and yet it is her own. The oneness of body in which marriage places husband and wife explains this. The one complements the other. Neither without the other realizes the perfect ideal of man.(End Quote.)

A mans wife earns his respect, and honour. We are to give due rights to her, as Christ gives due benevolance(Rights.) to His forth coming wife;(I.E.The Church). With respect, honour and full rights under the marriage, a mans life is blessed. This is not to say that a wife has the authority, or can have any athority, over a man, for this is sin, but she shares responsiability with the husband and for the family unit.
A Husband must control his own house, for without control, a man is in a state of shame, and sin. For as it is written, If a man knows not how to control his own house, how can he control the House of God.

Sex in a marriage. Two Reasons.
1.
"Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency."

This not being a commandment but a suggestion, a very good one.
"But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment."

2.
Bringing forth Children.
"Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."

Remember one thing, a healthy sexual life between a man and his wife is good, but it does not make a marriage.

Divorce.
"But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."
