National Recording Artist Al Mac Will ropes title Urban Country Gospel from Stevie Wonder and brings it to Chicago November 20th – 23rd

CHART-CLIMBING ARTIST WILL TOUR THE CITY ENCOURAGING YOU TO ‘SADDLE UP (WITH THE ARMOR OF GOD) AND PREPARE FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE’

With a voice reflecting the perfect melodic blend of Aretha Franklin and a splash of Dolly Parton, there is no question as to why Al Mac Will (Alice McAfee Williams) has been appointed to speak through music on her debut project Stand Still – available on Xodust Word & Music /Thank You Entertainment distributed by Fontana/Universal Music Group - and deliver the new sound of Urban Country Gospel (UCG) to the world.

It was the simplest advice, yet they were words that gave freedom to a vision and new life to a dream: “Al, call it Urban Country Gospel and no one will be able to tell you what it should sound like.” – Steveland Morris (AKA) Stevie Wonder

Come experience life in song from a woman who has dealt with some of the hardest battles yet through it all had the courage to “Stand Still.”

Al Mac Will’s dual singles “Stand Still” and “Holy Is the Only Way” arrived at radio stations across the nation this summer and interview requests immediately began pouring in. Station support includes syndicates Walt Baby Love, Rejoice Musical Soulfood and 100+ regional stations in Chicago, IL / New Orleans, LA / Detroit, MI and Houston, TX to name a few.

The most skeptical will likely be inclined to listen upon hearing that entertainment legends including Louis Gosett Jr., The Williams Brothers and Stevie Wonder have all supported Al Mac Will, but one listen to Al and you’re captivated at the fullness of her voice and intent behind her lyrics, cosigner or not. Passion, inspiration, triumph, tribulation and rejuvenation brilliantly intertwine to create the smooth sound of the new Urban Country Gospel genre which combines the best elements of Gospel, Country, R&B and Pop. It is a unique musical combination of gentle funk with a driving but subtle bass beat; the twang of sweet steel guitar and a groove that’s new yet familiar.

An accompanying video for the single “Stand Still” will reach video outlets early 2010.

From New York to Las Vegas to Los Angeles, Al Mac Will has only begun what is surely a life-long illustrious career. Notably she’s held the position as lead singer for The Ricky Grundy Chorale and shared the stage with key figures in Gospel music including the ‘Father of Gospel’- The Late Rev. James Cleveland and the Gospel Music Workshop of America, Charles Mays, Dorothy Norwood and The Williams Brothers.
