When we don't spend enough time of our own in God's presence (prayer, reading the word,) That we look to others for His leading, when we should go directly to Him ourselves. Not everyone we look up to is right with God, & the enemy blinds us & uses our weaknesses for what he thinks is his advantage - & because of our humaness, and how we fall short ourselves we allow ourselves to be blindsided & fooled into thinking we got a word from the Lord, when it was really the other person's flesh & own agenda that we mistook as "thus saith the Lord". The word said we have to study to show ourselves approved. We have to spend time in our prayer closets in His presence.

In 2 Timothy 2:14-16 ~ "Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness." (KJV)

We have to watch what we say to others, if we say it is a word from God, we have to not add our own opinion or twist on it, and we have to be certain that God wants us to reveal that word. And if He does, we best quote Him word for word - or leave it alone. As the saying goes, when in doubt, don't - it is better to keep your mouth shut, than open it up & let your tongue wreak havoc. Likewise, we have to take everything we are told to the Father for ourselves.

What is that old saying, "you look like a fool, but open your mouth & remove all doubt." What gets you in trouble is not your silence, but your tongue. Shut up & your tongue can't do its damage. Speak up & your tongue can wreak havoc if you say the wrong thing or just plain talk too much. Remember - "when in doubt, don't!" If you don't know if you should share it, don't.

"But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison." ~ James 3:8 KJV

May God bless you with the overflow of His abundance!!
