In spite of all the ,advanced intellect, problem solving skills, and creative abilites God has blessed the minds of men to have, it is yet those same things; intelligence, mental brilliance, and unlimited creative skills that have made it possible for one's voice to be transported through the airwaves to anywhere in the world, launch satellites in the cosmos, and "pseudo" transform a "man" into a "woman", that have historically angered, if not infuriated God, disrupted the evolution of the earth, and provoked avoidable mayhem. The mind is, indeed, a terrible thing to waste, but it is also a nightmare to unleash without proper boundaries, guidance, discipline, and accountability, or we wll have to contend with an army of "mad scientists", and clever, psychotic sociopaths. It is in the "heart" (the seat of man's emotions) where larceny, malice, and arrogance are formed and translated to the "mind. This is why we are admonished to "guard your heart, for out of it flows the issues of life.", and reminded that "the heart is deceitful, and desperately wicked, who can know it?" It was the cognitive error of Lucifer's mind, that covinced him that he could "take" the very God Who created him, and spoke the world into existence, on and become like Him. Lesser men, have made even greater detrimental presumptions, and "in hell shall they lift up their eyes!" The way that the human, unregenerated mind, was inately programmed to work, was in total opposition to all things God, simply because we were shapen in iniquity, and in sin were we conceived. God, being a Wise Master Builder, and fair in all His ways, was aware of this predisposition, to be in total opposition to all that He commanded, so He gave or provided for us the ultimate "remedy", or way of escape, through the process of salvation and conversion, and making it possible to "Let this mind be in you, that is also in Christ Jesus.", and the "renewing" of the mind, by the washing of the water of the Word." Pride and arrogance are the potential frame work of anyone who will allow it to penetrate their spirits, by the subtle murmurings of the adversary that "You can do that better. You're smarter, more gifted, more learned, or more qualified."

Even though pride and arrogance present themselves wrapped up in bold, condescending, and superior packages, at their root lies extreme insecurity and inadequacy. These conditions are the breeding ground for presumptions, suppositions, assumptions, and haughty opinions. Either one of these has the potential to damage situations and relationships, but any combination of them assures utter destruction to either, the unfortunate soul who is bound by these demonic influences, or their targets/victims. It was the fruit of men's opinions, presumptions, and ill informed conclusions that led Christ from Judgement Hall to Judgement Hall, from the Mt. of Olives, to Golgotha, and from there to the grave. Thanks be unto God for our sakes, that the story didn't end in the tomb purchased by Joseph of Arimathea, because it was the Abba Father's OPINION and a FACT that it was for this purpose, that His Only Begotten Son, put on corruption, and came in the form of a man! The "opinions" of mere men are no more than their estimations or conclusions, based on the limitations of the human intellect, and haphazardly collected information, and PRESUMPTIONS are something believed, based on inconclusive evidence. FACTS, on the other hand are "the quality of being "actual", or something KNOWN to have happened". Gosssip, and tale-bearing are the "birth children" of presumptions, suppositions, and opinions. It was the supposition and opinion of many that the "Virgin Mary" had to be a scandalous, whoring, distrustful female, who had to be "creeping" on her fiance, Joseph, because her "Baby's Daddy" wasn't yet tangible, visible, or provable, but at the cross of Calvary, the FACT of His origin, purpose, and Parentage was made, undeniably evident, even though "opinions" still did,and still do, tried to explain the unexplinable away! The final "opinion", "presumption", and "fact" stated about Christ after He "gave up the Ghost", was that 'TRULY THIS WAS THE SON OF GOD." The declaration and revelation of a truth always follows a "fact"! In the judgement hall, they presumed that Christ would "fold" like the average man about to be executed, and that he would attempt to convince them of His identity, or try to argue His case, but they "presumed" wrong. Having an assurance and a "knowing" way down within is empowering, and you find no need to force upon anyone the knowledge that your soul is secure in, because it has become a "fact" to you. "Opinions" are dead give aways,, because peope will often try to tell you what "you think", and this is usually , as in "You think you're so this, that, or the other!", because, it's what "they" actually think about you, but the miserable condition of their own souls won't allow them to admit, or acknowledge it. When Christ stood before the governor at the judgement hall, the man presumed that he went about proclaiming to be the "King of the Jews", and when He asked Christ to either confirm or deny it, the Lord responded "Thous sayest" In other words, "THat's your opinion or presumption". Before it was all over, everybody had gotten ther facts straight on this one, and had to recognize, tha this was the "FACT MADE FLESH", and the fulfillment of all prophecy concerning Him!

When Hannah was in sore travail and lamentation, crying out to the Lord in deep contrition, travailing for the absolute desire of her heart, it was presumed that she was "drunk", when the "fact" was that she was consumed with grief in her spirit, because she so desired a child. These "mis-observations, and misinterpretations of the truth could've ruined her reputation, and even caused problems in her home, like they do right now, 365 days a year. People have lost their jobs and been hospitalized in error, because of particular medical conditions whose symptoms provoked the unlearned and uninformed opinions of men, to make totally incorrect suppositions, and to "presumably take wrong, and unwarranted actions, which were humiliating, and traumatizing in every aspect of their lives. After the day of Pentecost, and the people were saturated with the Holy Ghost and speaking in tongues, some who didn't understand the power of God, were of the "opinion" that the people of God were "full of new wine, and "presumed" them to be drunk, but the "fact" was that they had a visitation from God that totally shook their lives, and catapulted them into another dimension of the spirit! When Nathan was sent to chasten David's heart about the treacherously foul way that he was living, and he used an analogy to present his point, David quickly formed an "opinion" about this hypothetical individual, who would do such terrrbile things to someone, and he presumed that it was someone other than himself, and passed a pretty harsh judgement on this unfortunate "fellow", when the "fact" was, that that very man was none other than, he, himself! When Daniel was in his season of character perfection in the kings palace, there were many who were jealous of his peaceful assurance and the way he went about living his life, who formed the opinion that Daniel seriously needed to be "brought down a peg or two", because they felt he had too much favor from the king,so they presumed, to set him up, bring him down, and take him out. This might have been a workable plan, but they overlooked one major "fact",that being that "THE LORD WAS WITH HIM!" When David decided that he would enter the ring with the hormoally challenged Goliath, the whole town, and his family were of the opinion that it was a ridiculous, if not asinine notion, considering the obvious difference in size, strength, and taste for brutal violence, and they presumed to disqualify him as the heir to kingship whom Saul sought, by divine command, because of external, and carnal reasons, which means they "presumed" to know the mind of God and His ways and dared to measure what God would or should do,by their heathenstic, self-serving, hard hearted standards, when the "fact" was that, from the foundation of the world, while the earth was still void and without form, David had a predestined purpose, was declared a "champion", and was assigned the victory before the battle was ever fought! There have been formed many opinions about you, as a believer, as a servant of God, as a Mother/Father, spouse, son/daughter, employer, friend, and just as someone who also "breathes air", and some may not have been off the mark, but your life wasn't destined o be impacted or advanced by "opinions" of men, popular or any other kind. Many of the siuations that ended in more "trouble' for God to rescue you from,or for you to try to figure a way out of, came about because of "presumptions" without research or adequate investigation, consulting and waiting on God, and assumptions. Even more presumptioms have been made concerning you, based on your family's "last name' and history, where you lived or didn't live, and your past. "Presumptions" acts are made all the day long, and opinions are formed even more frequently, in the absence of information and validation, because "inquiring minds" never get enough of business that's none of their affair, and "facts" are ignored or hidden, but there is one "fact" that's universal, and it is actually founded on solid "opinions", and it's even safe to "presume". We who are of the household of faith should be of the "opinion" that Christ is the Only Wise God, and we should "presume" that He's our Advocate, sitting at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for us, and that His return is imminent! The "fact of this combined opinion and presumption is that HE IS-I AM, the same yesterdy, today, and forever, the Ressurection and the Life, and the King of GLory, but even moreso, it is a "fact" that He's returning for a "pure Bride" without spot or wrinkle, and that He's coming swiftly! Until the day of His return, rest assured that you will have to contend with many more opinions and presumptios, but as you grow in grace, and mature in the vine, yiu are pressing towards that day when you can face your accusers, critics, opponents, and challengers and say no more than "THOU SAYEST!"
