Psalm 84:5-7} Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways of Zion. Passing through the Valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills with blessings. They go from strength to strength (increasing in victorious power); each of them appears before God in Zion.

When we make every day a place of habitation in the Lord we can't help but overcome all obstacles that come our way. God's word says to abide in Him and He will abide in us. Abide means to live in. To live in God and His word should be our daily attitude not just when the mood hits us. Why? Because those are the times we will draw our strength from God Himself and the difficult times in our lives will be turned to victory! We will be relying on the Kingdom power and not our own power! No wonder Satan works so hard at pulling us away from God and His Word every day.

Today Satan has even suceeded and getting most Christians to believe that they don't have to go to church! Why? Because the greatest move of God's glory is now taking place and Satan wants to be sure they miss it. Whether we like it or not, we need to be connected to the corporate anointing. One put 1000 to flight, ten puts 10,000 to flight! Now imagine when the whole body shows up!!!

Whenever we face a place of distress, fear, worry, sadness, doubt....that is when we need to run to God and get filled with His power and glory. The more we spend quality time in God's word, in His presence and in prayer, the more we will grow spiritually and go from strength to strength. Ever notice when you've gone through a difficult time and the devil brings you right back to that same set of circumstances once again that is when you notice that you stand more firmly on God's word and are not so easily shaken as you were the first time? That's when we tend to realize that God is more powerful than any situation and He is faithful in all things. That's when we realize that the Word has actually done a work in us. Yes, the trials and infirmities of the saints are many but God delivers us from them all! Every single one!

The Bible teaches us that God is our home. We usually look at our natural homes as a place of comfort, rest and even times refuge, do we not? It's a place that shelters us from all the storms. That is how we need to look at God. When we take shelter in the arms of God we will find that this is where we will find our greatest blessings. Spend time every day, no matter what is going on around you. Spend time in prayer, worship, reading and studying His Word and you will find no other place that you would rather be then right there curled up in the Father's lap and to just allow Him to love on you, heal you and to bless you. Those of you who have children, wouldn't you do anything to protect them from harm and evil? How much more our heavenly Father? When you are with Him you will feel secure, at peace and definitely at home. The more we take time to be with Him, the greater the anointing in our lives will be. The more we get into His word the greater our power will be. Not because of who we are, but because of who He is and He is within us! He will protect and defend! He is our greatest place of Refuge! God bless you. I love you, but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.
