OUR THOUGHTS ARE NOT GOD'S THOUGHTS,
Our Thoughts Are Not God's Thoughts; Nor Our Ways
Isaiah 55:8
Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord and He will have mercy on him and to our God for He will abundantly pardon. The Lord is talking here about mans intentions, goals, and ambitions for their life with first; asking Him is this the right way and saying God what is your thoughts about our life. When we have our own intentions about our life and not God's intention and when we have our own goals concerning our life and not God's goals for our life and our own ambitions concerning our life and not God's ambitions for our life and moving out by our own will or man's will without asking God and seeking His way by His thoughts for our life; then we are wicked people. The Prophet Isaiah is saying if we are walking in our own ways and our own thoughts we need to repent and forsake our way because our way is not God's way and our way's and our thoughts will lead us to walk in unrighteous thoughts and unrighteous ways concerning the will of God for our life, our goals, and ambitions which is nothing without God ways; God's thoughts and the leading of the Holy Spirit. God ways are higher than our ways and God thoughts are higher than our thoughts. If we don't forsake our ways and our thoughts because our ways are low and our thoughts are low compared to Gods and this will cause us to walk in unrighteousness before a righteous and Holy God; then God will call us wicked and we don't want that. Sometimes we try to reach our goals and our ambitions apart from God and we think too low for our God is high above the Heavens. The word of God says in Ephesians 4:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or THINK according to the power that works in us. We have this power in us; now let this power work. The word of God says let this wicked man the one that is trying to reach his own goals and ambitions; this man is out the will of God and is ask to return to the Lord because in his own thoughts and his own ways he has forsaken God ways and God thoughts for his life. The living God that so loves him will have mercy on him and pardon him abundantly; God will forgive this man. Now glory is to God!!! By His mighty power that works in us, He is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope. This is God's overwhelming power that He has given to whoever carries out His gracious plan for their life...
For the Power that God has given to the Church I give Him Glory...
