Pressed but holding

Have you ever found yourself pressed on everyside, yet you are not in despair? You feel as if everything everyone that come up against you does? You know that it's because of the call yet you wonder why and you sit in your private place and question yourself. You wonder will things ever really work out for your good, yet you have the promise that it will. You wonder if things will ever change for the good, yet you hear God whisper in your spirit to "trust Me" and you want to, you want to believe, but the evidence proves differently. You have been pressed beyond measure, backed up against the wall, yet you still have hope, you are still holding on. Sometimes, seems like holding on by a strand, but you're holding on. You feel trapped, yet you know you're free. You question yourself, you examine yourself, you beat yourself, yet you are holding on! You pick up the pieces of your shattered life and you continue the journey, all the while holding on. Gotta be a flaw, a gliche, something in who you are that causes things to constantly explode in your face, but I hear the voice of the Lord saying, that there is hope of a tree that at the scent of water, it will bud, blossom and bloom again. It's not important what you went through, who walked away, who lied and even the one the keeps lying. What is important is that I will never leave you, nor forsake you, I am the Lord thy God and I change NOT!.

I thank God for this Rhema word as I am one who is under great pressure, boxed in and pressed on every side. Some days are so full of trouble and I cannot see my way but by God's spirit I am able to hold on. Being under attack is not comfortable, but I seek the Lord to hide me in the secret of His pavillion, in His secret place. Then my God has sent a word today through you to encourage my spirit and I am thankful!
