Put on the full Armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes
“Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes." Eph. 6:11. From ancient times, the Devil has been so crafty & cunning, he's always plotted to deceive God's people & ruin them to the maximum extent possible. He deceived Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden & spoiled their relationship with God, he didn’t stop with that- he still continues with his cunning plots & cheats the children of God & wants them to get away from Gods presence. The word of God says;“That ancient serpent called the Devil or Satan , who leads the whole world Astray.”Rev.12:9.
The above verse is the perfect proof for the craftiness of the wicked & wretched Devil. Every Child of God must be like a soldier in the Royal Army of God, not just another ordinary Soldier but equipped with all the weapons which God has given us, mentioned in His words. When a normal army can play havoc on the opposition country when war arises, how much more we as Christians, should be because our fight is not with men in flesh & blood but with the most notorious cunning Devil who always wants us to suffer & leave God & hold his hands & be in his army. The Holy Bible tells us; ”For our struggle is not against flesh & blood , but against the rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world & against the spiritual forces of the evil in the heavenly realms”Eph.6;12. Therefore my friends in Christ put on the belt of TRUTH, have the breast piece of RIGHTEOUSNESS, let u feet be fitted with the READINESS that comes from Gospel of PEACE, take the shield of FAITH, wear the helmet of SALVATION & finally the sword of the SPIRIT which is the WORD OF GOD, which Jesus used when He was temped in the wilderness. Matt.4, Lk.4. Now when we r well equipped to fight against the Devil never turn back or never give up. God has trained our fingers for war in a very perfect way, He's our trainer so that we don’t loose hope ,when the crafty Devils brings in a circumstance or situation where we wish to run away from the battle field. Just say to yourself `we r not born to be cowards as the looser Devil is, who will go to any cheapest extent possible. We are born to the Lion of Judah, we are young cubs of a Lion Who never steps back but rules & ruins its prey to the worst extent possible. That's Satan!!!
