Here is a response to a discussion on Morning Joe on MSNBC.

Re: Joe Wilson

"As a pastor, I try to honestly and sincerely treat all people with respect and as valuable. I however, beleive that the Joe Wilson statement, "You lie!" in the place and forum that it was said is indicative of the racist spirit of those in the country and especially the south. I am from NC and have lived in different parts of the country, although there are truly good people of all races, I think that the country is very racist and culture biased. Joe Wilson should sit down! He raised a million dollars because he voiced the racist venom that is still at the center of this country. Yes, people of other cultures have made great strides but let us not deceive ourselves, if a few brave men, women and children from 1900 to 1964 did not fight for civil rights, this country would most likely be in an overt slave system.I'm not writing this out of a hatred of people because of their color. I love many people regardless of their color. But we must not deceive ourselves. We must deal with the truth and reality of what is happening in america."

In 1993 when I moved back to NC after living in Ct. almost 18 years, God began to deal with me about the demonic spirit of racsim that is still dominate in the south. Over the years He has given me a kingdom strategic plan to deal with it so that it is weakened, broken and loses its power over cities, states and especially the south, mid-atlantic and mid-western states. God is going to strategically start a fire from Atl. that is going to shake the world. Get ready.....

Yes, God is real and He is the answer! Love is the key to victory not hate!

What can we do to improve race relations in the south and specially in the church? we cannot call ourselves
christans if we discriminate against a person because of the color of his skin. the bible indicates that God made
man in his own image. As christans, we should be light in the middle of darkness.

This so true and indeed Sad
it was told to me that the Original Statue of Liberty was a Black Woman to Symbolized unity in America with Blacks and Whites,,the Original Statue of Liberty was a Black Woman ,,,if you look now She's White,,the U.S. re-done the facialthrough Sculptor to fit there needs..

A History Lesson
It is hard to believe that after my many years of schooling secondary and post) the following facts about the Statue of Liberty was never taught. Hundreds of thousands if not millions of people including myself have visited the Statue of Liberty over the years but yet I'm unable to find one person who knows the true history behind the Statue- amazing. Yes,amazing that so much important Black history (such as this) is hidden from us (Black and White). What makes this even worse is the fact that the current twist on history perpetuates and promotes white supremacy at the expense of Black Pride.

During my visit to France I saw the original Statue of Liberty. However there was a difference, the statue in France is Black. The Statue of Liberty was originally a Black woman, but, as memory serves, it was because the model was Black.

In a book called "The Journey of The Songhai People", according to Dr. Jim Haskins, a member of the National Education Advisory Committee of the Liberty-Ellis Island Committee, professor of English at the University of Florida, and prolific Black author, points out that what stimulated the original idea for that 151 foot statue in the harbor.

He says that what stimulated the idea for the creation of the statue initially was the part that Black soldiers played in the ending of Black African Bondage in the United States. It was created in the mind of the French historian Edourd de Laboulaye, chairman of the French Anti-Slavery Society, who, together with sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi, proposed to the French government that the people of France present to the people of the United States through the American Abolitionist Society, the gift of a Statue of Liberty in recognition of the fact that Black soldiers won the Civil War in the United States.

It was widely known then that it was Black soldiers who played the pivotal role in winning the war, and this gift would be a tribute to their prowess. Suzanne Nakasian, director of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island Foundations' National Ethnic Campaign said that the Black Americans' direct connection to Lady Liberty is unknown to the majority of Americans,BLACK or WHITE.

When the statue was presented to the U.S. Minister to France in 1884, it is said that he remonstrated that the dominant view of the broken hackles would be offensive to a U.S. South, because since the statue was a reminder of Blacks winning their freedom. It was a reminder to a beaten South of the ones who caused their defeat, their despised former captives.

Documents of Proof:

1.) You may go and see the original model of the Statue of Liberty, with the broken chains at her feet and in her left hand. Go to the Museum of the City of NY, Fifth Avenue and 103rd Street write to Peter Simmons and he can send you some documentation.

2.) Check with the N.Y. Times magazine, part II_May 18, 1986. Read the article by Laboulaye.

3.) The dark original face of the Statue of Liberty can be seen in the N.Y. Post, June 17, 1986, also the Post stated the reason for the broken chains at her feet.

4.) Finally, you may check with the French Mission or the French Embassy at the U.N. or in Washington, D.C. and ask for some original French material on the Statue of Liberty, including the Bartholdi original model.

You can call in September (202) 944-6060 or 6400. Please pass this information along!

The REMEDY: Read 1 Samuel 17...There are clues that will help us to kill the giant of racism, hatred and division. Remember we are in a spiritual warfare. When Goliath spoke what he was going to do to David..these were words spoken of the devil through Goliath. David came back with the Word of God(God's word spoken through David) with the Lord's name confessed first.....think about it. I will expound on this later

There is no doubt that racism is alive and well. In the metro area of Atlanta there was a home partially set on fire the day President Obama was sworn in. The house belonged to a white couple who went to Washington DC to see the momentous and historical event. Unfortunately, they were not able to see the new President be sworn in because they had to return to Atlanta to take care of the damage done to their home. In addition, to their home being set on fire the words "Nig%a Lover" was spray painted on the house. This was unreal to me. Racism is alive and well and in my opinion there are "some" who will no longer be furtive about their true feelings. The vestige of racism is still visible in certain parts of the South. Even when you ride through you get the feeling that I may not want to be caught over in this area at the wrong time. Then there are those areas wherein they don't hide it at all, its right there in your face and if you have any common sense at all, you better get the hick back on your side of town.

SAD BUT TRUE

Does racism still exist I would say YES! But here is the problem we can't expect a race that oppressed you to treat you with respect. Not all white people are racist but you still have those with that mentality. The problem isn't Black or White but SIN.
I know of African Americans who have success according to this world without using the excuse of the White man holding them back. Here is a question why is it that people from other countries can come to this country and start a business. And I am talking immigrants of color. We are responsible for our actions, we need to stop using the crutch of white racism. Cause I have never known of a white man in my hood offering brothers drugs or guns to sell. When a man of color kills another man of color whose fault is that?
The tribal wars in Africa whose fault is that. I hope and pray that Black folk don't think things are going to "change" because you have a half black president. I for one voted conscience instead of race and if anything I should not have voted at all. I was disgusted with the Black Church during the elections. I could not see how as a Christian you could vote for someone that was so pro choice. My Pastor said that abortion was a secondary issue. What kind of nonsense was that?!! So its more important for you to get a half black president so you can feel better about yourself than to stand for righteousness. 14 million Black babies have died due to abortion but that's not important.
Look at Obama's first move as president: he did away with funding for teen abstainance and instead spent 110 million on safe sex ed for teens. Does that smell like payback for Planned Parenthoods endorsement. Yes pray for your President but pray its one term and done!
Grace and Peace
