Repent

Pensive means to think,
To ponder and to weigh.
Repent means to think again
Because prior thoughts have gone astray.

It's time to reevaluate
The choices we have made.
It's time to tear down
The foundations we have laid.
It's time to build a structure
That is new
Upon a firm foundation
That is true.

Born again to create
What is yet to be.
New thoughts giving new eyes
Brilliant clarity.
Every thought brought
Into captivity:
Body, mind and spirit
Bathed in purity,
Affections anchored to invisibility,
Drawing from a superior reality.

God's kingdom is here and now,
At hand and within reach:
A novel idea that we
Are sent to preach.
A position upon which
We are to stand,
That the kingdom of God
On earth will expand.
Let the will of God be done in earth
As it is in heaven!
