Salvation is of the Jews.

“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” There are many in this world that have called for the destruction of the Jews, its Nation and peoples. We know by Biblical accounts that The Land and People of Israel, are Gods chosen people. So then the question is, why are they rejected at this time and why are the gentile people now a people again chosen by God to be included in the saving grace? The Children of Israel had a direct connection to God, for He attempted to talk to them directly.

“And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off. And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” In the beginning, those that worshiped the Lord, worshiped Him, not in spirit but in sacrifices and the traditions that were handed down by the elders. God established a series of laws and statutes to help the people live a life of righteousness. So then, why were the Jews put aside, temporally, and the gentiles accepted into the system of salvation.

The biggest reason is that, as time went by, God had not received joy or glory from the animal sacrifices. The people, as time went by, forgot what God had done for them and their sacrifices became a regiment of duty instead of a labor of love. As it has become today, much worship has become a habit and not the labor of love it was intended to be. We can prove this by the words of Christ. “Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.”

The house of Israel started to worship God as stated; “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” God desired His people to worship Him with their heart, but they, as many today, started to practice religion instead of worship. The judgment of men started with the judgment concerning works with Adam and Eve, and continued on. The works of the gentiles, were not based on the worship of God but of love of neighbor. We see this here that the gentiles, as time progressed, desired to worship the God of Israel but had no ties with Him, they were unknowingly worshiping devils.

“But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.” Because of the hardheartedness of the hearts of the children of Israel, God grafted them out of the natural branch of salvation. Because of the great desire of the gentiles to worship, they were grafted in, where the Jews were grafted out. Even so, God did not want the gentile race to fall into the same snare, that caused the fall of the Jews, so, in His infinite wisdom, sent Jesus to the Jews first and then to the gentiles with a new testament, to remove the barrier of sacrifice and ritual.

“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. “We, as gentiles, are not a people that take the usage of rituals seriously, but we are a people of true spirit. We desire not to wear robes or crowns, but a simple people with lots of heart and a natural curiosity about God. When the vail of the temple was rent(torn) from top to bottom, this open up salvation to all men, removing the barriers of the past and all things became new. Salvation is still of the Jews but we all are now covered by the saving grace of God. Ars.
