Spiritual Weapons

For the weapons of our warfare and not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. (IICor 10:4) The enemy is presently empoying deception on every hand. His goal is to trip up the saints of God. As it is in the Spirit, so shall it be in the natural. (They are paralell, one to the other) This is a time of guerilla warfare, of snipers, and bobby traps, and not necessary a frontal attack. Our duty is NOT to attack satan, or to defeat him, that has already be done on the cross. Our job is to withstand his every attack. Our duty is to resist him, not to remove him. Remember, satans final defeat comes (Rev 20:7-10) It comes not at the hand of the saints, but from the hand of God, who sends fire from heaven (Rev20:9)

What does all of this mean? I'm glad you asked. Our protection against satan's attacks is assured only if and when we take up the "full" armor of God.(Eph 6:11-18) satan's attacks are from every side, he attacks at any point vulnerable and at any moment. Thats the stategy of guerilla warfare. Check yourself on a daily basis, make sure you are girded up!!!!!!! Therfore our armor "must" be completely equipped, or we become vulneable to his attacks.
