I'm sitting here and the thought came to me, how some people over the course of my life, (potential personal and professional relationships) how good people, quality people and sometimes not so good or not so quality persons have consistently told me how good they are, what they can do for me, how I am missing something by not choosing them, their gift or their friendship or association. Don't know about you all but the IRKS me to no end. Let me make my decision without feeling pushed. People may not realize this but the, "I gotta tell you how good I am ",pushes people away. People can tell more by your actions than your words.

My personal thought, belief and practice is this:
1. Be your best self ( Someone will notice)
2. Focus on what God has called you to do
3. Make yourself quietly(humbly) known and not loudly/pushy(pride) known
4. Pray and ask God what purpose has He allowed us to meet or connect
5. Follow His leading as it pertains to a possible personal or professional relationship
6. Submit to whatever God tells you and be patient
7. Never try to make someting happen in the flesh or by your own might
8. Pray for the person or persons that they are open to God's leading concerning each of you
9. Let the person make up his or her own mind as to what they want to do
10. Never take a no, I'm not interested as a rejection. You never know what might be fueling a persons assumed lack of interest or involvement. It might not be a decision made based on you or what you bring to the table.
11. Continue to pray the best for the person
12. Continue to pray for yourself

What are your thoughts?

I agree with Eric...great posting...As humans we have the proclivity to over analyze, especially when it comes to relationships. One important thing we miss is becoming friends, brother or sister only said hello and the person has the wedding date in his or her head...lolololol, we miss the greatest part about relationship and that's building. In addition, you don't have tell anything, allow your actions to speak for you and the person who is mature will see who you are spiritually and naturally...and besides it tooooooo much work to be trying to be someone you are not...well at least for me it is...Well I added my two cents for the night....be blessed people of God.

Amen ... I rather let people see the Christ in me , and let them tell me WHO IAM . I have never been one to boast and Iam not going to start now ... because truly , as Mary Mary says "it's the God in me " . As usual , great topic !
