Meditation for the week: "STRONG FAITH"

"And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God" (Romans 4:19-20)

Strong faith is unyielding in the face of negative situations. Strong faith doesn’t stagger. It maintains the confession, in the face of staggering oppositions. Strong faith is stubborn faith. It’s like the account in the Bible where Jesus was told that his friend Lazarus was sick. Jesus assured them that Lazarus wasn’t going to die, but the man died! He was dead and buried for four days before Jesus showed up. When He got to the tomb of Lazarus, He didn’t say, “Father, why did you let Lazarus die?” rather, He said, “Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me” (John 11:41). As far as Jesus was concerned, the Father heard Him when He said Lazarus’ sickness wasn’t unto death (John 11:4). The fact that the man had been buried for four days didn’t make any difference to Jesus; His confession wasn’t going to change.

Strong faith doesn’t accept “too late.” When your faith is strong, nothing will be impossible with you. You will not give up or tremble in the face of adversity. In your fight of faith, learn to unleash your stubborn faith on those rebellious, negative circumstances. It doesn’t matter what you see, hear or feel; it doesn’t matter how negative or impossible things may look in the natural, keep confessing the Word of God! Remember, with strong faith, there’s no such thing as “too late” or “impossible;” you’ll always win.

MAY THE DIVINE PROTECTION OF THE ALMIGHTY BE WITH YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD AS WE ENTER INTO THE LAST MONTH OF 2009.
