Stumbling Block To Stepping Stone
But by means of their suffering, he rescues those who suffer.
For he gets their attention through adversity.
Job 36:15 NLT
Rescue by means of their own suffering. The Lord always chooses to bring us out by means of the best pathway. There are some places the Lord has to completely deliver us from or snatch us out of by every means necessary. Then there are the painful places of suffering that we constantly revisit and then there are some that have never left and the suffering does not end.
One of the most powerful things in all of creation is a made up mind. The Lord sometimes allows the madness of life's circumstances to continue and to intensify. Situations that are perplexingly painful push us to a point of desperation. We want out and we want it ASAP! We feel like we have done everything within our ability to rectify our situation to no avail. After all other options have failed; there are always two that remain. Yes, always.
One of these options will be God's will and way out for us and the other option will be a surrender to a wicked enemy's deceitful circumstantial suggestions; who's soul objective is to steal, kill and destroy.
The power of God is within us now regardless of where we are or our circumstances. God is for us in spite of our yesterday. All things that pertain to life and godliness has been given to us through the revelation knowledge of who we are in the Lord Jesus. Our sins have been forgiven and we have been redeemed from the curse of the law. We have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness. This time the Lord is waiting for us to move.
I hear the Lord asking these questions. Will you be made whole? Will you be free? How long will you allow this to continue? Have you had enough yet? The Lord is saying, "Behold, I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions and all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you. The deliverance and the word of deliverance are within you now. We can never be delivered from that which we tolerate. Beloved we are the ones with the say so.
Whatever we refuse or forbid in our lives on earth is what will be refused and forbidden in heaven. Whatever we accept or allow on earth is what will be accepted and allowed by heaven to continue in our lives. We decide!
Make the decision; "It ends today!" A made up mind walking in agreement with the infinite power of Almighty God is a force that the powers of darkness cannot contain. If God be for us, who can be against us? Now, let's make our stumbling block our stepping stone to destiny. Amen!
