"That Place"

There are times in the progressive lives of the servants of God, where they find themselves logistically located in peculiar, unexplainable, and often, unidentifiable places. It is for this reason, that God in His sovereign wisdom,will insist that we "travel light", because everyone can't handlle the terrain, atmosphere, or climate of where He's sending us, and if they're not graced to be in, or exist in the proscribed times and seasons of God with us, they can be destroyed, and our stint there can be prolonged. In times of sudden isolation or separation, don't panic, but know that the Lord has just "updated" and realigned your "itenerary"! Everyone who's going to be "Somebody" in God, is guaranteed to "vacation" in two of the Lord's" favorite "get your life and spirit right" spas, "ARABIA, the "desert", and the "WILDERNESS"! What most of us don't "relax" in God long enough to discover, is that these places are really what you make them, and your "tour of duty", is determined by how you work the program while you're there, and it also determines what trophies, awards, and "greater heights" you come out of them with. Intimacy with the Lord will help you keep up with your shifting "orders" ,or assignments and help you to keep track of your "frequent flyer" miles as you journey from faith to faith, from glory to glory, and from power to higher power, with your ultimate arrival time being the "due season" and the "set time" of God, while avoiding unnecessary delays and "departures"! Those who are really rattling the gates of hell and boldly declaring the pure, unfiltered, blood-washed Gospel of Jesus Christ have to travel via private "aircraft" so that the . ("I will bear thee up, on angel's wings") enemy has no insight as to their exact destination, or location, at any time, and this is why they are dispatched to the "caves"! This is especially true for Prophetic people, who are commisioned by God to deliver, without error, reservation, or hesitation, a hard truth,often, to people who can seriously upset their lives. Elijah was the most well known "cave dweller, next to David, and we know the story, how after being used by God, phenomenally, in the stellar performance of his prophetic career, after slaying many dragons, and whipping many lions, and tigers, and bears, "Oh my!", he allowed a mere, rebellious, hormonaly psychotic, and bitter "woman", whose knees were bound to bow to the Name of the Lord, just like his, send him running for his life. I believe the Lord allowed him to languish in that dark, cold, slimy, smelly "Motel 3" for him to come to his senses, and get his mind right, and until He remembered His covenant to live and die for the sake of obeying God, "even if He slay me", and that "I AM, the Lord!". If you've been mightily used by God, only to be assaulted by wolves with teeth like machetes, right after you finished blessing them, and you give way to despair and allow the devil to cause you to "moon walk" and lose ground, a room is being reserved for you out at "Motel 3"! If you are feeling heavily oppressed, uncertain of what you are, "who" you are, or what you should be doing, or how to go about it, and no one seems to want to help you, pray with you or even hear your heart, pack your winter clothes away, stock up on water, and dress light, because you're headed for Arabia, the dry places,, of reflection, purging, and stripping down naked, spiritually, physically, and literally! If you are in a season of persecution, from even those who are supposed to be instructing you, having the oversight of your soul,discipling and insructing you, but yet they treat you like that "frog-faced stepchild" they despise, if you find yourself engaged in a spiritual battle like David was caught up in with his "mentor", King Saul, if you find yourself, istinctively, trying to keep a low profile and be "invisible" to not be the target of a "Sunday Sermon" or the subject of wrath in staff meetings, arm yourself with the high praises of God,and your full armor, because you are in the WILDERNESS where the terrain shifts , unexpectedly,without notice, because everybody but you receives frequent updates and memos regarding what's going on in the ministry. If you find yourself so situated, where everything you say or think is "wrong", and everything you suggest or try to do is declared "not God", you have been deployed to the WILDERNESS, where the wildlife is particularly venomous and lethal, because the "tongues" of the wicked who persecute you are no longer content to let it be known that they "can't stand you", but now they've shifted to actually assassinating your character on a real personal level. If you are in a locale where you have to stay prostrate, beseeching the Lord to put constraint in your mouth and your focus on Him, because you really are being provoked to and want to just revert back to your "former vocabulary" for just five good minutes, or be allowed to just roll up your sleeves and "box" it out, so that "folk" will realize that "M E E K", doesn't spell "P U N K", you are a few miles south of the wilderness, but preparing to land right there!! If you are in a situation where you have to meditate, do "stretches" and a few "side straddle hops", and enter into a monlogue with yourself just to "enter His gates with thanksgiving", over at your place of fellowship, if you feel like a "visitor" or you're on the outside looking in, if it looks like the leaders have love, time, and affection for everybody but you, pack a blanket, a few boxes of saltines. or some ramein noodles, intensify your oil, (anointing), because you're about to enter "gross darkness: and you're going to need as much of Jesus, the Light of the World, as you can carry. Maybe you find yourself in a season of near prayerlessness and sorrow, and not because you don't want to, but because you don't even know how to, or you feel God is so far removed from you, that you wonder is He angry with you or does He hate you? Maybe you're in a place of such great anguish, because you've been persecuted and mistreated for so long, and God won't seem to intervene, vindicate or rescue you, and your real, true praise is being held hostage, and you just want to pack the Bible away and take up a subscription to "Jet" or "People" magazine? One of the most painful places of all, is the one where you discover that your chief persecutors and "maligners" are those whom you broke bread with regularlly, " your very own "familiar friends", or better yet those of your "own household or kin"? These are "THOSE PLACES", where only the strong survive, and they are the "dying" places, divinely constructed to work a work in those vessels of the Lord, who are destined to "take the gold" in every race, and be found still standing , and standing therefore, after 13 rounds with the devil, yet praising, and boldly declaring that "JESUS, THE CHRIST, IS LORD!" If you have located your current or future position on this "map", you're ten steps ahead of the enemy,and because of your early arrival at the "departure gate", know that your "flight" will be right on time, with little or no turbulence, and you've already passed through security clearance. Now, you know where you're going! Work it out, and apprehend your destiny!

My God ! My God ! I see some of myself in those "PLACES" ... I recieve this word in all humilty and I am praying for the Lord to REMOVE ME from those "PLACES " ,so the Lord can continue to equip me for this work ... Praise the Lord ...
