Words can poison and destroy a young man's entire life (Proverbs 7). Right advice is guaranteed safety and protection (Proverbs 11:14). Any man who controls his mouth is literally protecting his own life (Proverbs 13:3). Those who talk too much will eventually be destroyed (Proverbs 13:3). Right words can turn any angry man into a friend, and wrong words can turn a friend into an enemy (Proverbs 15:1).
Your words reveal whether you are wise or a fool (Proverbs 15:2). The purpose of words is to educate, enthuse and enlarge those around you (Proverbs 15:7). Your personal happiness is influenced by the words that come out of your own mouth (Proverbs 15:23). The wise are cautious with their words (Proverbs 17:27). Right words are as important as water on earth and the sustaining of human life (Proverbs 18:4). Men fail because of the words they speak (Proverbs 18:7). Wrong words wound others and destroy people and friendships forever (Proverbs 18:8). Words determine which dreams live or die (Proverbs 18:21). Any words you allow others to speak into you are deciding the wisdom you contain (Proverbs 19:20). Wrong words are the reason men fall into error (Proverbs 19:27). Good men study their words before they speak them (Proverbs 15:28). The tongue is the major cause of all troubles (Proverbs 21:28). Fools seldom understand the power of words (Proverbs 23:9). Talking to fools is a waste of time (Proverbs 23:9). Wisdom is a result of the words you hear (Proverbs 23:19). The timing of your words often decides your success or failure in a situation (Proverbs 13:3; 29:11; Ecclesiastes 3:1,7). Influential people should use their words and influence to help the poor and needy (Proverbs 31:9). The words of wise women are consistently kind (Proverbs 31:26). Your words can become the trap that destroys you (Proverbs 6:2; 10:14; 18:7). Right words feed and sustain those around you (Proverbs 3:13-14; 10:20). Right words can get you out of any difficulty and trouble (Proverbs 12:6). Right words bring health and healing (Proverbs 12:18). The wise avoid the presence of those who consistently speak wrong words (Proverbs 14:7). Only the simple and fools believe everything others say (Provervs 14:15). Right words give you access to powerful and important people (Proverbs 16:13). Wisdom is necesssary in order to speak the right words (Proverbs 16:23). Pleasant words are the sweetest sounds on earth (Proverbs 16:24). The sweetness of right words could help to cure any bitterness existent in the human soul (Proverbs 16:24). The quality of your words reveals the quality of your heart (Proverbs 10:11; 12:6; 16:27). Words will quickly expose envy and jealousy or admiration and respect (Proverbs 11:9; 16:27). The greatest friendships on earth are broken because of wrong words (Proverbs 16:28). Strife can always be traced to someone's words (Proverbs 16:28). Evil is released through the lips (Proverbs 16:30). You should not answer anything until you have heard all the details (Proverbs 18:13). Words influence and affect the accumulation of your wealth (Proverbs 18:20). Right words can release a boss to promote you or give you a raise (Proverbs 18:20). One conversation with the wrong man or woman can destroy your life (Proverbs 22:14). Never enter into battle without sufficient counsel (Proverbs 24:6). The wise avoid "self-praise" (Proverbs 27:2). Lying words can poison the attitude of a boss towards an employee (Proverbs 29:12). Read it for yourself.
