The Significance of Jesus Christ.

As the breakaway Presbyterian Churches accept homosexuality as a good life style, they are also considering the Significance of Jesus Christ and His word.

As far as prophecy goes, is this significant, or a look into the future of all churches?

This is not a message about homosexuality, but rather a study on the end of the righteousness of many churches.

First we must ask ourselves a few questions and find some definitions.

1.What is meant by, "The Significance of Jesus Christ?"

2. Why are many Christians stating that homosexuality is an acceptable lifestyle with God?

3. Where or what is the future for the end days Church?

Significance;

Meaning; import; that which is intended to be expressed.

Under this definition, we see that many Christians are directing their thoughts away from the very intent or meaning of the preaching of Jesus Christ. We know that the Bible tells us that each man has an interpretation.

"How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying."

"Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church."

What is the teaching He intended to be expressed?

We know that Jesus and God are one, furthermore, neither can be separated from the other. Since the Bible tells us that The Lord never changes, we know that what God has declared to be sin is also the same thing that Jesus also declares.

When a church member, or the entire church body, becomes involved with, and condones false doctrine, they have backslid on their devotion to God and the truth. And yes, there is such a thing as backsliding, its Biblical.

The Significance of Jesus Christ, was expressed by Him as He taught, Preached, and Commanded miracles.

The significants of the saving power of the Cross has not changed, nor diminished. The same teachings and warnings are as true today as they were at the beginning of the beginning.

We can see a great falling away from the truth of the Gospel, in doctrine and interpretation.

Many look at the teachings of Christ and are saying,"He really didn't' mean all He said about sin." or They express their condonement of their belief in this manner,"The Old Testament doesn't apply to us since Jesus."

The mistake that many make is on who's words are written in the Bible.

Many believe man, but man hasn't the knowledge to write such truths, many believe that the Bibles translations are, and have been diluted, and many also believe that the Bible is so full of errors that we can change

it to suite our own beliefs.

None of these excuses will be accepted by God.

We all have come into the knowledge of sin threw the law.

"If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

He that hateth me hateth my Father also."

All mankind knew that sin was common among man. They knew what was and was not acceptable with God. Sodom and Gomorrah was an example to man on the wages of sin, along with the flood of Noah.

For if God destroyed one generation of man for these sins, would He not be unjust allowing another generation to commit acts that were punishable by death to another?

We must all come to realize that Jesus came not only to deliver to man a new testament, and not only to testify of the truth of Gods word, but to testify that the teachings of the prophets and teachers were also true, for all words came from God. So, if He testified that the Old Testament words were the truth(Making reference to them.) who said that the sins of the Old Testament scriptures are no longer sins?

This comes from the misinterpretation of scripture, and the arrogance of man.

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen(His power to create.), being understood by the things that are made(man and beast.), even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they(Mankind.) are without excuse:

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man(Changed His word to suite what man perceived as righteousness.), and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.(Idols.)

Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: ("For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:")

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen."

We see a disturbing trend within the United States and within the churches. We are not to align ourselves with the works(works of darkness.) that refuse to believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, for the Bible states of these people as enemies of the cross.

We see in Congress an attempt to install a so called fairness doctrine, that would stifle the preaching of the gospel on national airwaves unless an opposing view is also aired. N.P.R. has, starting on May 1st., curtailed all Christian programing.

Many in government have called Christianity a disrupting and divisive religion.

Many others are also calling for the division or even the elimination of the Nation of Israel, for so call peaceful relations with the nations of Islam. Do not the people read the Bible, or have they turned their backs on the truth?

The reason that many churches are condoning homosexuality, along with other abominations is clear, for the members have not been taught the truth by their ministers. For how can a man, being in opposition to Gods word, teach the truth?

So we see a removal of many passages from the Bible, which would condemn those that are following such teachings.

We see this here,

"Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?

Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?

Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?"

Many church leaders today are compromising the truth for large congregations and national recognition as a progressive minister.

These so called truths have cut into many unbelievers, not knowing what the truth is, driving them further away from the true church and salvation threw Jesus Christ.

These false doctrines are not progress but rather are transgressions.

The future for the end days Church is clearly written. The days will come when they shall endure false doctrine, heeding to fables, and every wind(words or doctrines, contrary to the truth.(fads.))and doctrine.(Man made.)

When the church marries the world it stops being a church, when a church condones any sin, their message becomes a lie, when a church changes the word of God they are no longer a messenger of Christ, but of the Devil.
