The Silence of the Lambs.

And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, “Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.” And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, “Master, rebuke thy disciples.” And he answered and said unto them, “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” There are those that would silence the lambs of God for their testimony of the King of kings.

There is a movement around the world to stop the use of the name of Jesus, and declare that Jesus, was just a prophet, and not the Son of God. Will the Lambs of God heed to these words, or shall they continue to praise Him for all His mighty works? Shall we deny the truth and take heed to the fables and doctrines of man? “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” Who shall separate us from the truth, who shall separate us from the love of God. Shall it be the false prophets that say, they are from the Lord, shall it be man made doctrines and fables, that men so easily make up from their imaginations, or shall it be our own weakness in the flesh, and especially the spirit, that quietens our voices?

“Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” “Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.” “the children of the desolate” The desolate - The church of the Gentiles, which in the times of the Old Testament was desolate, does now bring forth to God a more numerous posterity than that of the Jews.(Wesley.)

“Desolate; Deserted of God; deprived of comfort. “the married wife” The children(Church) of God. Many shall be desolate without joy, without praise, and without singing, for they have all gone their own way, saying, “We have no God before us, we reject the notion of a Son, we reject the notion, of one almighty being. If we be bastards, then let it be so, for we do not believe.” “But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?” Sing; O ye mountains of the Lord, sing ye Birds of the Almighty. Let the rivers, and valleys, the trees, and the rocks, let the snow, and the rain sing, as they fall upon this world of corruption and vanity, sing loud all who believe, for as we look up our redemption draws near. The whales sing in the depths of the sea and the eagle cries out loud for the wonder of God and His Son. Shall we allow the creatures and the hills to sing louder than Gods created? Nearer my God to thee, as the words of praise draws to a climax before the coming of the Lord.

“The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” The Lord God will have His Praise, Honor and Glory, if not from His people, then from the rocks, mountains, trees and the animals of the field. No one will stop the believer from glorifying God, no one shall hinder the righteous from singing songs, and spiritual songs, to the Lord. The Son of God, shall have His just due, as the Lord and Christ. We shall always praise the Lord for His Son, and for His excellent greatness.

Religious tolerance in todays world means to give up praising the name of Jesus. We praise Jesus and bow down before Him, to the Glory of the father. For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Glory and honour are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place. Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Who then shall say you from the great cloud of false witness against you, shall you be left alone to rebuke the evil that tries to ensnare you with doubt, threats, and false accusations?

“O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.” Shall the Lord allow His people to perish, to go hungry, naked, desolate without coming to their needs? Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let men say among the nations, The LORD reigneth. Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that is therein. Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. Ars.
