The Virtues of Love and Wisdom
Good Morning World! Love teaches us how to give, forgive & bless others. Wisdom teaches us how to protect ourselves. We must love people but we must first love God. How? Obey His commandments. If we do so, it becomes easier to protect ourselves from toxic relationships, evil communication & the consequential corruption of our Godly behavior. Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. 1 Corinthians 15:33
But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1:6

24 Nissan 5770 Today in Jewish History: The First Shabbat Celebrated (1313 BCE) Less Two days after the Jews crossed the Red Sea (see Jewish History for the 21st of Nissan) they arrived in Marah. There they received several commandments; one of them was to observe the Shabbat. The first Shabbat was observed on the 24th of Nissan.
