My people are busy, but not for me; they are consumed with getting, but not with me. They have raised up other gods instead of me, praised me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Do they know I have eyes that see? Will they not sacrifice themselves for me? In my hands lie their destiny, in my judgement I will put them far off from me. Will they not open their eyes and see? That I am fed up with their false praise of me.
