TIME TO STOP PLAYIN CHURCH!!!

When I look back over my life I remember when I was a boy I always loved going to church, I didn't care which church it was I just loved going to church. in my young mind I always felt good when I was in church, the people were different than the people that I saw everyday, they were very nice and always dressed up. When I would get home in my play time I wanted to play Church, I would sing the songs that I learned in service. I would preach and make believe that Pecans were the people in church and I would preach and sing to the Pecans,I had so much fun, they never had to make me go to church I would always ask to go. and if no one in my house was going I would go with other people where ever they went to church. Everybody called me Rev.Ike, as a boy because to them I looked like I could be his son, at the time I didn't understand why they called me that. My grandmother promised me the next time Rev. Ike comes to Atlanta I'm gonna take you to see him, (and she did) I was so excited I got a chance to go down to the City Auditorium to see the man with the plan, he says" YOU CAN'T FOOL WITH THE STUFF I USE" I stared at him the whole service I was mesmerized by his presence. as time went on and as I begin to grow older I begin to mature in the word of god and in my understanding of the things of God.. I now realized its not just in the going to church (when I was a child I spoke as a child. when I became a man I put away childish things) being in church should enhance your personal relationship with the lord.It Should help us to be a model citizens in the community and in your work place. Church should be to us a Refuge, a strong Tower, the place of prayer and renewal. not a social gathering or a club.Its not a place of entertainment. I am sadden in my spirit at some of the things that are going on in churches in this hour. the pulpit use to be sacred (like the ark of the covenant) now people who are not even called to ministry are in the pulpit, because they are an artist or a celebrity, where are our standards? I don't care who you are or how much money you give, the pulpit should be only for anointed men and women of God that are called to Preach the Gospel..the church now have VIP seats for the big spenders like at the club or a stadium. you got armor bearers serving like maids and butlers giving out water and juice in fancy gold rimed glasses during service to the big money givers on the front row of the church,they are not even sitting in the pulpit. I don't Understand? Why is it that serious ( the greatest among you should be servants) why so much attention? why the fanfare? the reason we can't get a visitation from God is because he's not the Man of the Hour!! Its time to stop playing church and get serious about our fathers business. and then will we hear from heaven and he will heal our land. All this attention that is not needed is destracting to everybody and its grieving to see Preachers that can't do anything for themselves anymore, you need someone to carry your briefcase, you need help with your bags, you need help getting dressed, help to the restroom, help to write a check for your offering, God is not pleased!! Jesus fed the five thousands!! Jesus turned the water into wine, Jesus served the last supper.Jesus laid down his life so that we might have the right to the tree of life today. If Jesus can serve Why Can't We Serve??? Its Time To Stop Playing Church, Go back to the true meaning for being in Church.set the house in order, pull down the strong holds, clean out everything that is not like God. Start doing things for yourself and serve the people of God like Pastors are suppose to do. stop sending folk to do the labor part of your ministry, we got to work while its day for the hour will come when no man shall work, the harvest is ripe and the laborers are few.... And let's not forget for many of the visiting/ pastors, bishops and apostles providing those "late night services" as well if you know what I mean. Lord help us today!
