To Ignore Satan Is To Invite Him To Operate
Luke 13:10-16
Satan doesn’t want to be unmasked; he doesn’t want us to talk about him, he doesn’t want us to know the truth about him. But we should not be afraid to talk about him, in fact we should know as much as we can about him. God’s people have been living in defeat because many of them do not understand how Satan operates. Satan can only be effective when he works in secret. When we rip the mask off Satan, when we openly and without fear talk about him and reveal his strategies, we provide the foundation for conquering him. Today Satan is hiding. When we see the work of the enemy, sickness, pain, sin, violence, sexual perversion; we insist on putting it under some nice theological or psychological wrapping and call it something else.
It’s time we knew Satan’s characteristic expose him in the face like Jesus did and tell him to “Go.”
Satan couldn’t hide from Jesus because Jesus knew Satan’s characteristics. Jesus knew Satan was a destroyer.
One day while Jesus was in the synagogue teaching, He looked out across the crowd and noticed a woman who was totally helpless. She was so bowed over she couldn’t lift herself up. She had been in this terrible condition for 18 long years!
Jesus stopped His teaching and called her out of the crowd. He recognized this woman’s condition as a work of Satan.
There was no doubt or uncertainty in Jesus’ mind that this sickness was from Satan. He didn’t wonder if it was God’s will to heal her, He immediately took action. He loosed her from Satan’s grasp and set her
free. The leader of the synagogue became angry because Jesus healed this woman on the Sabbath day and told the crowd they should not come to be healed on the Sabbath. Jesus asked the leader of the synagogue, ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed. (Luke 13:16).
In your personal life and in your ministry to others, you must be able to recognize that sickness, disease and pain are products of Satan and evil spirits who are at work to destroy.
We must also deal with Satan and the evil spirits as Jesus dealt with them. Please notice that Jesus never prayed for one sick person. He did not once plead and beg, “If it be Thy will, heal this man or woman”. He KNEW He had been anointed by the Holy Spirit, He knew it was God’s will. Jesus simply spoke the word in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. He told the woman who was bowed over for 18 years, “Woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity” (Luke 13:12). Jesus spoke the word and it was done! To the leper He spoke, “be thou clean.” (Luke 5:13). To the widow’s son who had died, he spoke, “Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.” (Luke 7:14). To Lazarus in the grave He spoke, “come forth” (John 11:43) .To the blind man He spoke. “Receive thy sight.” (Luke 18:42).
When Jesus discerned that the person was bound by a spirit of infirmity, He spoke directly to the spirit and commanded it to come out.
This is the same dimension of power and authority God wants you and me to operate in. (You must live a Holy and Righteous Life). There are no short cuts!
We must recognize Satan as the destroyer, and speak forth the Word of Healing and Deliverance in the name of JESUS!!!!!!
In the world we live in today, people are caught up into Satan’s world system of free to do what you want to do. People are doing everything accept obeying the word of God. Disobedience brings on Rebelliousness which becomes Witch Craft in the sight of God.
GOD IS RASING UP HIS, TRUE APOSTLE, PROPHETS, PREACHERS, TEACHERS, AND EVANGILIST IN THIS HOUR; TO SET THE CHURCH BACK IN ORDER THE WAY JESUS SET THE CHURCH UP BEFORE HIS CRUCIFIXION. WE KNOW JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR A CHURCH WITH OUT SPOT OR WRINKLE.
