Earlier today the author of the previous blog entitled, "Torah Keeping" deleted the whole blog which was one of the most popular ones on this site, having over 10 pages of discussion and responses. Since the discussions were not completed and many, many questions were left unanswered, this renewed blog will pick up where the other one was so abruptly discontinued.

This blog will endeavor to explore the validity of keeping the commandments/Torah of God/YHWH based on the Oldest Scriptures, the teachings of Messiah and the Prophetic and Apostolic writings.

The Apostle Paul himself, did not point to his writings as being authoritative, but in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, he told us that:

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work

So we must search all the scriptures on this and any particular subject to come to the knowledge of the truth.

We must be careful not to fall into the trap of being partial to one Biblical personality who is NOT our Savior as the Corinthians did and were rebuked:by PAUL, for their carnality:

1 Cor 3:
4 For while one saith, ****I am of Paul**** and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

We must inculcate the attitude of the Bereans spoken of so highly in Acts 17,

11 Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

This texts should reveal to us, that any of the Apostolic writings MUST agree with the same doctrine already established in the scriptures. The scripture spoken of here in Acts 17 were the writings that our Savior revered, currently organized in our Bible, from Genesis to Malachi.
