The thought of the twilight of the day has always been a fascinating thing to me. I remember the television series and later the movie of the same name that struck a chord of mystery in my mind and exhumed thoughts of curiosity. the strange twang in the music went around and around with mindless repetition and colored the darkness and shadows accompanied by the bland voice of the narrator. All gave place and atmosphere for... The Twilight Zone.

But twilight is a state of ambiguity or obscurity; a state of uncertainty, vagueness and gloom. In our days and nights it is that time where the light is dim either in the early evening or early morning when the sun is just below the horizon and the light is deflected by the earth's atmosphere. So then what we see is a fraction of what is actually there. And though we have a keen memory of the day and bright light of the sun, this has a way of capturing our thought and engulfing us in the moment in it presents itself. This produces a reaction, whether extreme or minute, a reaction is produced. What is in the shadow that intrigues our imagination and makes us want to know what is there? That we can't just leave well enough alone. We can see something but can’t make it out. What is it that makes us pensive and arrests us in thought?

One of the most beautiful times to fly is in the twilight of the day. It is so beautiful to see the sun just over the clouds or the moon in the horizon. This is the splendor of God's hand in a slight and obscure setting in the shadow of what?..God must reveal.

We live in a time of twilight; a time where the spirits of men and women are shadowed by captivity, longing for the light of deliverance. Will you look in the shadows? Exposing the enemy’s handiwork in the lives of those for which we have a burden…or should have. Do we have a burden? Or is our desire for the sensationalism of the move of God more prominent than our desire just for the ministry of deliverance. With the gifting of God, is there humility? Is there the death that Paul spoke of, that we die daily? God forbid that we with the ministry of deliverance, as we minister in the power of God fall short, and become a castaway. For it is in this twilight that these spirits of men will learn to fly. They will, and we will receive beauty for ashes, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, so that they with us, will fly as eagles. (61:3). And again, we with they will find renewed strength, mount up with wings as eagles in the shadow of the day or night (Is 40:31) - soaring to deliverance, running, rejoicing, dancing in the light of the Lord as God gets the glory. Who is this King of glory? I tell you the Lord strong and mighty and our Lord mighty in their battle.

God's peace and much prosperity to you!
