Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. I know this is a scripture that everyone know but I had to really dissect this passage of scripture. They that wait, I've heard wait as a waiter does, I've heard wait while you are working or doing something. I beg to differ it's simply means wait. If you're doing and moving there's no need for God to prove HIS God. Let me prove my argument in Judges 7 God spoke to Gideon and said the people you have are too many for... me to hand Miidanites into your hands. So Israel went from 22,000 to 300 men that LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth they will save you. God use less to prove HIS awesome wonder. The bible also says when you done all you can do STAND! Mount up your wings like the imitation of your heavenly Father wing of protection. David said "He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust". You shall run and not be weary, not get tired and walk and not faint, so don't worry about the distance your facing remember the race is not given to the swift nor the strong but he that endure. God bless.
