Watch Your Mouth ( REPOST )

"This, then, is how you should pray: " ’Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, Matthew 6:9
When we pray we should go to God exalting Him , in full glory and praise. His name is very powerful, and we must pray with honor to God. I know we always start off asking for this and asking for that, but we must acknowledge God with His name in glory for been our Father in Heaven! We must thank Him for everything we have gone through and to present no matter what situation it is ,God is there to help us through and provide and comfort us. So always start off a prayer with Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name!!, that is letting God know you are recognizing Him in prayer.

"You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name. Exodus 20:7
I have heard others use the name of God in vain towards others, that is a no-no, we can't use God's name to curse others or to disrespect others in any kind of way or fashion. You love love God's name to speak good towards others like "saying God will take care of you or God loves you, in His name." I love God too much to disrespect His name to use it in a way to hurt others.
When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise Proverbs 10:19
Watch how you speak in a group of people around, by not trying to say the wrong thing out of contrary to a sinful mouth. People tend to change a story around so many times in a short time period. I try to watch conversations that is not Godly like, because people will say to others "I saw minister Brown cutting up over there talking like trash about somebody, and knowing they did not hear me say anything, so when people start to say things knowing that I do not care for that kind of talk around me, they do not speak it or I just walk away quietly somewhere else.
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, James 1:19
Try not to get upset at others to much, try to forgive them and not let your lips take over before your mind, because we will say something out of anger without thinking first before we speak, it is hard to take back words of anger because the heart is damaged.
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. Ephesians 4:15
1) Moses asks – God what is your name?
2) God answers, “I Am” is my name!
3 To declare God’s name is to declare something about Him

Psalm 22:22 I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you.

4 The name of God has power
a At the name of Jesus demons are cast out
b At the name of Jesus people are healed
c The name of Jesus is responsible for the coming of the Holy Spirit
d The name of Jesus is important in baptism
e The name of Jesus is the name behind the power of salvation

5 God’s name has meaning to God Himself

For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. Peter 3:10
So speak in Godly love towards others and others will see how you really are, a person in Christ and love in your heart, no matter how bad they talk about you, you just stay strong in the Lord and keep on taking day by day with God's help.Always stay true to God and others and your days shall be longer with God blessing more than ever.So please stay prayed up every day and adding this phrase in your prayer to God"Lord also keep my lips from speaking evil and help me to watch the way I speak to others by not trying to hurt their feelings. Watch my anger and keep me in control over my mouth to speak well and good towards." God is watching you every day and second and know what you are thinking, but he can not stop you for saying the wrong thing to others, you must stop yourself, God is in your heart if you let Him in, and if he is in you how can you speak badly with evil talk? So stay strong in Love.
Prayer: Lord God, thank you for the gift of speech. Help me always to remember that in an unnecessary multitude of words sin can be found. I want to follow your will by being swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. I want to be like Paul, not using excellency of speech, but simplicity as I speak the truth in love. Through your power, I will be able to use my speech to demonstrate your wisdom and your Spirit. I choose to be sober-minded, walking in good works, gravity, and sincerity, so that my speech will always be sound. through Jesus Christ, my Lord, Amen
