What do you see when you look in the mirror?

What do you see when you look in the mirror? It depends on what mirror you're looking in. When I look in the mirror on the wall, I see a man, a decent looking person I guess. I know what I look like when I see myself in the mirror, and there's no way I could possibly forget what I look like. I have seen myself in the mirror hundreds of times perhaps even thousands of times. But in reality I am only viewing in part and the man I see is not the man that lies beneath the skin. We are more than just skin, flesh and bones. That's just a body, but the word tells us that we are body, soul and spirit. So then when I look in the mirror I'm only looking at the shell, but how do I view the rest of me. Well, the only way we can view who we really are is to take a look at the word of God which give us a mirror image of what we look like to God. Once you look into this heavenly mirror you cannot forget the person you saw, and in order to remember you must view yourself in this mirror over and over again. Don't be like the man spoken of in the book of James 1:23-24..."For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was." The word of God is your mirror to show you who you are, and you must open your eyes and see, and not forget the manner of person you saw. Satan don't want you to see yourself in the word of God, but instead he wants you to see yourself as the same old weak person you see everyday in the bath room mirror. Satan knows that if you see yourself in the Word, you will see a person that is strong, powerful, mighty and victorious in Christ. You are in Christ and you must see yourself in Him, in the Word of God, living, walking, soaring in Christ. When you first received salvation the word says that you were put in Him, Ephesians 2:6..."And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." Once you see yourself sitting in heavenly places in Jesus Christ, you are far above the problems of your life. Ephesians 1:20-21 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.

When you are on the ground everything looks so huge, all of the buildings around you look so big, but if you were to get in an airplane and soar into the heavens, and look out the window. Everything then looks so small because you are in heavenly places and all of the skyscrapers look like specks on the ground. That's what looking in the mirror of God does for you. It takes you so high until your problems look so small because they are. If you look at yourself in God's mirror you will see that you are a mighty person in Christ. No one can defeat you, no demon, no principality, no power, because you are in Christ. That's why the word says when we see Him (Christ) we shall be like him: 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. When we look into the mirror we see the glory of the Lord, and we are changed into the same glory, from glory to glory...2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. So then I tell you that when you look in the mirror of God, see what you are and don‘t forget it, because you are more than a conqueror, you are a strong mighty man or woman of valor, you are victorious, you are all this and more in Christ!!!!! And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. The video below is an illustration of the man in the mirror.
