I NOTICE TESTIMONY SERVICE IS NOT A TIME FOR TESTIFYING ANYMORE. MY UNDERSTANDING OF TESTIFYING IS TELLING WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR YOU AND YOU SIT DOWN, BUT NOT ANYMORE NOWDAYS WE HAVE TO TAKE 10 MINUTES TO TELL THE CHURCH ABOUT ALL OF OUR PROBLEMS WE'VE ENCOUNTERED THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST WITHOUT BEING RUDE?

Well i wouldn't call it being rude sometimes people get caught up in the swirl. Sometimes you need to interject just so they can refocus. If you've already said before testimony service "tell of the goodness of Jesus" then the person goes on with "the devil did this and the devil did that" you can break in and say Sister so and so what did God do for you in the situation? That will break roll that they're on and get them to thinking. As they sit down reiterate we want to speak of the goodness of Jesus before the next person gets up.

I suggest you say what's necessary. Testify as to how God has worked in your life. Testimonies are witness bearing statements to show people God is Real..God Lives....God works in your life...God stands by his word. It is NOT a "venting" session. Let's be realistic, everything that goes wrong in your life or not according to "your" plan is not ALWAYS the work of the enemy! We sometimes fail to realize that everything is not FOR us just because WE want it. We also fail to admit that some things we go through are simply results of the decisions that WE made..including but not limited to being disobedient to God.
