When I voted Today, I Felt.....

An overwhelming feeling of satisfaction and content as I gratefully
stood in line with my neighbors (that I don't know), and listened to
the excitement that buzzed around us! People of all ethnicities were
chatting, and sharing donuts and coffee, and saying excuse me, and
don't worry about it. Actually being kind and considerate to one
another.

Children were amazingly patient, and well behaved. It's a beautiful
fall day in Ypsilanti, MI and the air seems to be filled with some
sort of enchantment.
I thought about my parents who didn't live to see this day, and I
cried....happy tears

For a moment I forgot about all the other problems that exist in the
world.
