WHEN PEOPLE SAY YOUR PREACHING IS TOO HARD!!!

Don't be moved by people who say your preaching is hard!  Please believe that most of them are saying that becausing they're not living anything and have no intentions on doing so!  They are just happy with the notion of being present in church being that we're taught that that's the right thing to do and that we're going straight to hell if we're not sitting in a church on Sunday morning!!

People know this: The Word of God is extremely hard to those who are not governing themselves/ their lives accordingly, but to those who are doing so or at least attempting to, it is like sweet music to their ears!!  The wise love instruction but only the fool longs to be stroked and made to feel good at all cost, even at the cost of their lives!

Grasp this about the Word of God!!  Where you are afflicted, it will surely comfort you!  Yet, where you are flowing in self righteous comfort, it will afflict you!!

All in all, the Word of God is only meant to build and shape you!  

So how about we get to the point where we stop claiming to Love God and really start doing so!  And that by Loving what He's said first!

Ultimately, God loves you and regardless of whether you think His parenting is hard or not, He's only looking out for you and only wants the best for you!!  Just as with our earthly parents, you may not can see or understand the discipline and hardness while you're immature, but as the Word says, when you are old/mature, you will not depart from it!!!

Thank you DADDY for looking out for me even when I can't understand what you're doing!!
