➢ Matthew 22:14 For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.
➢ 2 Cor. 5:20 So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.

Title: Where Are The Leaders?

Leader means: some one who guides or directs others by showing them the way or telling them how to behave or conduct themselves.

What makes a good leader?
1. You must have a personal relationship with the LORD. This relationship entails spending time in the Word, praying and fasting. For the Word is alive! God operates through His Word. 2Tim 2:15 Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
2. You must obey the voice of God. John 10:27 The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow
3. You must have a heart for the people and the many out cries for help. Yet this is not what is happening. Ezekiel 34: 8As I live, says the Lord God, surely because My sheep became a prey, and My sheep became food for every beast of the field because there was no shepherd--neither did My shepherds search for My sheep, but the shepherds fed themselves and fed not My sheep.

Let’s take a look at the manna I have come to deliver to you.
LUKE 10:25-35

Luke 10:25-35
25And then a certain lawyer arose to try (test, tempt) Him, saying, Teacher, what am I to do to inherit everlasting life [that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah's kingdom]?

26Jesus said to him, What is written in the Law? How do you read it?

27And he replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself. (A)

28And Jesus said to him, You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live [enjoy active, blessed, endless life in the kingdom of God].

29And he, [a] determined to acquit himself of reproach, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?

30Jesus, [b] taking him up, replied, A certain man was going from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him of his clothes and belongings and beat him and went their way, [[c] unconcernedly] leaving him half dead, as it happened.

31Now by [d] coincidence a certain priest was going down along that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32A Levite likewise came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road].

33But a certain Samaritan, as he traveled along, came down to where he was; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity and sympathy [for him],

34And went to him and dressed his wounds, pouring on [them] oil and wine. Then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn and took care of him.

35And the next day he took out two denarii [two day's wages] and gave [them] to the innkeeper, saying, Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I [myself] will repay you when I return.

I want to share with you the revelation I received when I read verse 30-31. I hope that it will bless you as it encourages me.

30Jesus, [b] taking him up, replied, A certain man was going from Jerusalem down to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him of his clothes and belongings and beat him and went their way, [[c] unconcernedly] leaving him half dead, as it happened.

Many of us right now is that certain man! Who fell among robbers. The robbers, come in many sizes, shapes and forms seem and unseen. Family members and so called friends! The robbers come to poison you with their lack of faith in your situation! The robbers you have built a relationship with. You have given of your heart for the LORD as you labor in the vineyard with them. You pray together, you encourage together, you worship together. Yet, when it is your time of great testing, you are able to see the LORD's hand working as He begins to separate the wheat from the tares in your life. These tares are the people of God who have been pimping your gifts and talents for their own glory under the covering of this is for God!

Robbers of your health in your body. 1Peter 2: 24He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [a][as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.

Some of you have been living in exile, not because of your disobedience but this is where God, had to place you so that you would and could go to your next position in Him. Some of you have had your name scandalized and lies now have you in a negative situation where now you are facing threat of removal from your friends and new family.
James 1:2-4 2Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. 3Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience. 4But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.

Many of, the DOERS OF THE WORD, let me say that again, DOERS OF THE WORD, not the selective obedience group; who select what they want to do for God, when they want to do it, and for how long they will do it. The DOERS OF THE WORD, we are on our own road of Jerusalem to Jericho, as we journey from one level to next. The attacks are real, painful and even sometimes a knock down but we jump back up! Proverbs 3:5-6 5Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.

If you are truly doing the work for effective and infectious kingdom building you are under attacks of the enemy Ephesians 6:13Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

30. He fell among robbers, who stripped him of his clothes and belongings and beat him and went their way, [[c] unconcernedly] leaving him half dead, as it happened.

31Now by [d] coincidence a certain priest was going down along that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32A Levite likewise came down to the place and saw him, and passed by on the other side [of the road].

We know that there is no, let me say it again NO coincidence in God. This was an uncovering in the daylight concerning two leaders of the church. One a priest- who offers sacrifices and in general in busied with sacred rites. Levite- served as assistants to the priests. It was their duty to keep the sacred utensils and the temple clean, to provide the sacred loaves, to open and shut the gates of the temple, to sing the sacred hymns in the temple, and to do many other things.
Here we have not one but two leaders of God that made a conscious decision to not get involved! They were only lip doers! Since there was no one to see them they kept it moving.! They were so arrogant and self absorb and believed that God did not see them walking away from that man in great distress. What I call a delusional spirit on the men of God. The profile and styling group. Aka Sadducees & Pharisees you know what I mean we have a lot of them around us. That when we see them we know that here’s drama! The last I looked a leader is suppose to have compassion and love! There was surly no love demonstrated to the man who had fallen into a bad way.

These leaders were assigned to take care of the people of God. Yet their attitude demonstrated they were more like Cain. Gen 4:9And the Lord said to Cain, Where is Abel your brother? And he said, I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?
This is the same foolishness that is operating in many of the churches today.
Philippians 4:6Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ([b] definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Some of us right now are dealing with the fiery darts of the enemy. I call these darts HEAT SEEKING MISSILES. The are locking down to the heat and fire of the Holy Ghost that surrounds us. Trying to leave a hole in the ground upon impact of hitting you. Isaiah 59:19So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].

What can we do as Ambassador to Christ, leaders whether sitting in the pews or on the pulpit? Do not be like the priest or the Levite. Have a relationship with those whom God has directed in your path. For each encounter and connection is for us to mature more in Christ. When the alarm is sounded concerning fellow brethren do not turn your back on them. When they call and you hear the pain, hurt and concern in their voice. Do not say I will be praying for you and get off the phone. Pray right then for prayer changes things and you getting off the phone is another form of rejection. 1 John 1:
7But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]
Call daily to encourage to let them know that they do have people who truly care. Do not act like they are now Leapers aka Untouchable. This is the time to allow love to flow abundantly.
John 15: 12This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.

In closing: You are Ambassadors for Christ, leaders and your brother’s keeper step up and lead, not abandon those who are hurting and need encouragement. Lift them before God. Can I get some love?
