Titus 2:11-12} For the grace of God (His unmerited favor and blessing) has come forward (appeared) for the deliverance from sin and theeternal salvation for all mankind. It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world.

Too often, we as Christians, take God's grace for granted. Because we are saved we think we can do whatever our flesh desires to do. Wrong! We were bought and paid for with a heavy price. We are no longer our own, we belong to God. Jesus suffered, shed His blood and laid down His life for every one of us. So who do we think we are that we can blend with the rest of the world and behave like little heathens? Like it or not many Christians today are involved in the great falling away that the Lord spoke about in His Word. He warned us these things would happen yet many of us have ears and do not hear and we have eyes and do not see. God warns us through circumstances, through His word and through His people yet we still close our ears to His warnings because we want to enjoy life and do things our way. God called us to be a peculiar people, a holy priesthood yet many of us fear people's opinions of us and we would just rather blend in with the rest of the world. Wake up saints! We are not to hide our light under a bushel.

Many saints will use the Scripture that God loves the backslider so they feel they can go on their own merry way and keep doing their own thing without realizing that the backslider will eventually have a stiff price to pay. Don't take my word for it , take God's word for it....do a bible study on the backslider. I I also have a bible study on the backslider on my site also, check it out (www.sharinginkingdomlifearchives.com).Too many today are ignorant of God's words because they don't take the time to open His love letter to us (the Bible) and read what God has to say. What happens is that we are starving our spirit man and our discernment will become clouded and we will be easily deceived. Would any of us go without eating food every day? No. Why? Because eventually our bodies would suffer and eventually die. The same is true for the spirit man within us. Many of us are not growing and producing fruit because we take no time to be with God. Other things have taken first place over our God. We are serving other idols in our lives without realizing it.

If we are sick all the time, or going through the same trials and tribulations, then we need to do an account of our walk. God is always trying to get our attention in some way and get us back on track with Him. The problem is that many of God's people have become stubborn and stiff necked. They want nothing to do with church so they are walking in disobedience for God told us not to forsake the gathering of ourselves together. They want nothing to do with reading or studying the bible daily so again they are walking in disobedience for the Lord said to study the Word to rightly divide and to show ourselves approved unto God. Many have become hoarders of material things and are walking in disobedience to God's word that tells us to give and then it shall be given to us good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over shall men give unto our bosom. Whatever you sow, you will reap. And if you don't sow anything, then don't expect to reap anything. When we withhold our hands from blessing someone, God will withhold His hand from blessing us. We should be looking around daily to see who we can bless.

Take a good look around. Those who have been faithfully walking with the Lord, those who have been obeying His commands, those who are tithing are in a season of overflowing blessings. It's time to clean house and do inventory of our walk. It's time to step it up and ask God to remove anything from us that is not pleasing to Him. It's time to step it up and be doers of the word and not just hearers. There is always someone out there who needs prayer, food, clothing, finances or who are just plain lonely. Our churches don't preach enough about widows. I have a Bible study on that on my site and I would urge you to look at it. Many widows are lonely and struggling financially. They have lost their husbands and many have lost friends because they walk away from them after their husbands die. I have widows around me and I'm always looking for ways to bless them. Since I became a widow the Lord really gave me a heart for them. I didn't know the Lord was going to go this way but I'm being obedient to the Lord. What you may not know is that orphans and widows have top priority with God, and so it should be with us.

So let's start stepping up to the plate and light that fire in our bellies and be very sensitive to God's voice in these days and be doers of the word and not just hearers. And for those of us who have ears and do not hear and have eyes and do not see, we really need to ask the Lord to open these two areas up so that we don't miss out on His blessings. It's time to put His word to practice folks. His coming is at the door. What report will you give to the Lord when you see Him face to face. Will you tell Him you were too busy enjoying the pleasures of the flesh? Or will you tell Him you did your very best to lay down your life for Him and to obey Him. It's time to be led by the Spirit and not our own carnal desires. It's time to walk in that unconditional love and to be there for people. If you have not love then you don't have God. It's time to be a peculiar people for God and to stand out so much that all the world sees is Jesus. It's not about us, it's about Him! God bless you. I love you, but Jesus loves you so much more than I ever could.
