Marriage is holy, and honorable in all. The bed is undefiled. Yet adulterers, and fornicators will be judged. God performed the first marriage in the garden of Eden, when He told Adam, it was not good for him to be alone. So God made him a help meet, by putting Adam to sleep, and then took the rib, then formed He a woman. Adam said bone of my bone, and was united to Eve his wife. Amos 3:3 how can two walk together except they be agreed?

Adam and Eve became one flesh, and that is a mirror of that relationship between Christ and the Church. We are made one through unity. We are to endeavor to keep the unity of the Faith in the bond of peace. We must be kind one to another, tender minded, and forgiving just as

God for Christ sake has forgiven us. When this is done no conflict is too great that God cannot solve it. May the Lord bless all marriages this day, and let Christ be the head of your marriage to the glory of God.

It is a New Year, and a time for married couples to look back at the faithfulness of God. As God is the threefold cord that holds your marriage together. So rejoice in the Lord always, and in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. May the Lord bless all our marriages to be strengthened to endure the trials of life and become more vibrant in this New Year!
