WHY does God allow us to go through pain??

You may have heard this before and then again, maybe you haven't.
I for one believe this is one of the BEST explanations/ answers to the question....

WHY does God allow us to go through pain?

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said:
"I don't believe that God exists."
"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.
"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist.
Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain.
I can't imagine a loving God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument.
The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop
Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard.
He looked dirty and unkept. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber:
"You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber.
"I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"
"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because
if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."
"Ah, but barbers DO exist! That's what happens when people do not come to me."
"Exactly!" affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist!
That's what happens when people do not go to Him and don't look to Him for help.

That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

Pastor Bell, I agree with you, we should always be able to speak whether we agree or disagree but in love towards one another. I was not trying to single you out or state that you caused this thing to happen. I stated that it seemed you took it as though Brother Moreh was saying Brother Eric was all wrong in his first response to Brother Eric's post. I didn't get that at all but it seemed to lead to a lot of fuss after that. You sir don't have to take on anything or the whole blame as you stated. LOL Please if I have offended you in any way accept my apologies because that is not what I was trying to accomplish. I simply pray that Brothers Moreh and Eric will work this out through our Saviour Christ Jesus and between themselves and not make it a spectacle here for everyone else to see and then participate. Trust me I have no answers only God does. We all get caught up in conversations even when it is not our desire to do so. God bless you and all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

Yahweh allows what His divine order requires.

From the Garden of Eden our projentors Adam and Eve opened the portal to sin by taking the fruit from the tree of Good and Evil.

Prior to their disobedience everything Was what? GOOD ! In Genesis chapters 1-2, everything Yah created was good.

After the act of disobedience sin pervaded the human race. When there is sin there are consequences of that sin, individually and corporately. We inherited both kind from our foreparents. Hence, evil came into the lives of mankind. Yah could only intervene in the lives of mankind when invited. He respects the free-will of His creation. He gave Adam and Eve instructions on what he expected, throughout the generations more and more disobedience, sin, wrong choices by man, which their generations inherited. So sometimes bad things happen to good people because of a generational cure, sometimes because they made wrong choices , such as mates, places to live, serving idols, rejecting the things and the ways of God.

But as the brothers and sisters mentioned Yahweh always use what the enemy meant to harm and turn it into good , for all concerned.

What determines the outcome of things when adversity happens to people, is their relationship and knowledge of Yahweh, His laws, His ways of doing things. If there is no personal relationship with Yahweh the person will always blame him for adversity. If he does not intervene in the way we want Him to, we should check the status of our relationship toward Yahweh and towards our brothers an sisters.

Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Christ. First let me say I am simply floored to say the least. I have been gone since May 29th until the middle of June maybe the 15th. I needed to get away from my business and refresh/renew my mind. I happened to see Brother Lucketts post on "Can We Have Peace" and it led me here. This was suppose to be a harmless post by my Sister Tarmeque because I know personally she has no maliciousness in a bone in her body but always with love, sincerity and speaking from her spirit. But I tell you what I see is truly sad and pathetic. Don't get me wrong I have gotten into heated conversations myself as most of you know because the other person and myself are zealous for our Lord and Saviour. I have been in heated conversations with my Brother Moreh and maybe some disagreements with my Brother Hancock but it has always led to us coming back to our spirit and loving one another. It was between that person and me and not family, friends nor slandering (not intentional that I remember) just heated. No matter if we couldn't come to an agreement we seemed to reach an understanding of agreeing to disagree and most of all respect. This has gone beyond any of that and if I were a person seeking to find people to help me understand what it means to be in God's Family, this site and in particular this tread would leave me to believe I have come to the wrong place. I have left this site in the past and was gone for over a year because of all the ego/flesh led responses and mindsets of some of us, including myself on ocassions. We all get extremely zealous for God and His Word but it doesn't mean we have to stop walking in the spirit and return to walking in the flesh. If we are walking in the spirit we should be protected enough to realize that it is Satan that is guiding us and not the spirit when we start with the name calling, slandering and other fleshly led things I am seeing in this thread. I had to start from day one and go all the way through. It didn't start out that way and from what I see it shouldn't have reached this level of iniquity. I know Brothers Moreh and Hancock and consider them both my Brothers and believe each is sincere and zealous for God and His Word no matter what the differences or disagreements. I don't agree with everything that Brother Moreh says and he and I realize that but we don't put on the gloves. We simply state what we feel in our spirits and speak in our spirits and accept one anothers views whether we agree or not. What I mean by accept is that we don't lash out at one another. We did in the beginning and I was wrong in what I had said to him thinking I was knowing the hip talk that Jamaicans use and found out what I said to him was not what I thought it meant. I was corrected and apologized to him and it was accepted and we are now able to talk as two believers (though sometimes different but sometimes in agreement) should even with different views. I presonally respect both Moreh and Hancock. Satan will attack us even if we think we know as much about God's Word as we do and I see he is succeeding here on this thread.

To me from reading it started out with one person (Moreh) disagreeing but stating he meant nothing by it and another person (Eric) not feeling slighted by Brother Moreh's comments until the Brother Charles made it appear that Moreh was attacking and I didn't get that at all. I believe it was Brother Charles that used the term "other team". What was that all about? Then from there everyone else jumped on the band waggon and started attacking. I'm not trying to get in the middle nor trying to continue this but I had to comment because it hurts me for this kind of dialog that is going on. Sister Tara knows I have been in this situation though not this deep on another site with a gentleman that I simple told him to ban me from his site because I would never agree with his teachings and would always respond. Most people use Matthew 7:1 to justify not judging others when they don't realize exactly what that verse is truly saying. It's not judging but realy condemning others when you don't have facts or truths about what you are condemning. If we don't find out meaning for God's Words sometime we use the meaning we have been taught or use Webster's meaning and that is wrong most of the time. Judge in that verse means condemns. Some use that verse so they won't be judged by others so they can keep spreading false doctrine without anyone challenging them. If you read 1Corinthinians 2:15 you will see we who are spiritual should judge all things, yet we are judged of no man. Why would it be ok to judge the spirits of things to determine if it is of God but not what man says or does. That makes no sense what so ever. Man is a liar! I go to the scriptures on everything that anyone tells me and if it's not there I will come back and let them know and those who know me know I'm speaking the truth about me. You also know that I'm big/humble enough to admit wrong when I'm wrong. Anyway I'm back and this saddens me that this disagreement has gone into one's family and character of both Moreh and Eric. As I stated this should stop and should now be between Eric and Moreh to come to an end of this and it stop being a spectacle for everyone else so they can put their 2 cents into it as though they are above anything. This is not Christians vs Hebrew/Israelites, this about individuals that love God and His Word and need to resovle this and everyone else stay out of it and stop acting as though you are 'Holier than Thou' or without sin.

If we have Christ in us and we in Christ then we should no longer be in sin. Did He die for our sins for us to continue in sin? I think not. When do we stop listening to Satan and thinking we are sinners still? Jesus did away with that if we simple be in Him and He in us and follow Him and not the flesh. Anyway I do realize before anyone says anything that I just got here but I can read and I can see what has transpired and it's not spiritual at all. We ALL are Gods sons and daughters and we need to remember what it means to be a part of God's Family. None of us are better than the other, we are the body of Jesus and He is the cornerstone of our building and remember those that are first will be last. God bless you all and may God our Father remove the enemy from this thread and our lives and may we rebuke him in the name of the Lord. This is all I am going to say on this thread. My Sister Tarmeque, I know when you posted this, this is not what you intened to take place. You posted a legitimate question but received pain for you question. I will email you my answer personally so not to step on anyone's ego/pride because of my answer.
