Why You Need Good Credit!

Good credit is a necessity. Just a small smudge can be an inconvenience and bring much heartache. In my 20's, I had an incident were a $480 charge I had previously paid showed up on my credit report. In 1992, after returning to the States after living in Puerto Rico, I found I couldn't open a savings account. I had to write a letter of explanation and provide documentation that the $480 had been paid. In 1993, while purchasing our first home, again I had to explain why the $480 showed up on my credit if it had been paid. This paid charge on my credit report was ruining my life.

That is when I discovered that having good credit is just as important as having money.

Why? You can have money, but without good credit basic privileges most of us enjoy every day may not be available to you or they are available at a higher price.
