Grace and peace to all

Indeed worship is a powerful weapon given to us in the Body of Christ. However, most of us have not comprehended or don't have the knowledge about the potency of worship. Worship is so potent that it makes God dance and rejoice over us. Worship is so powerful and dynamic that demonic forces are driven back when it is activated. Worship is so powerful that it becomes infectious.

In Revelations 4, the four living beasts around the Throne worshipped while the four and twenty elders sat, but the atmosphere was so charged that the four and twenty elders were infected by the worship and they too began to worship with a harmonious sound.

When we begin to worship and get into the Inner Chamber and grasp who God is, our worship no longer focuses on earthly matters. It's no longer man-centric, it becomes God-centric. As the intensity of worship increases, every person is affected like the four and twenty elders. They all sang, not just in an anthem of heaven (Holy, holy, holy) but also in a prophetic song.

When worship gets to the place I'm talking about, it brings you to a sense of nothingness to compare to His Majesty. As the four and the twenty elders cast their crowns before the throne, so we too throw down our titles, positions and social status to embrace Him. Crown speaks of headship and falling down speaks of humility. It brings a level of humility that one cannot experience through suffering, only through intense worship.

What we have today in church is sing-along service, not worship. It doesn't bring us to our need for Him and our sense of who He is. The praise group comes away feeling good, but does God feel good? As we come to worship Him, worship must be to entertain and to minister to One.

Let's ask ourselves some serious questions - is my worship really infectious? Is my worship people-centric or centred around a location? Does my worship really move God or does it move my flesh? Be sure of this one thing, there's a sound that is coming out of heaven that only those who are intimate and intense God-centric worshippers will hear, respond and be transformed by His presence.

Let Us Talk About It
