YOM KIPPUR PRAYER OF REPENTANCE
According to Leviticus 16:29-30 today is Yom Kippur a day of repentance. The original Jewish and Kushite believers observed this day before and after Yahshua's ascension back into heaven (Acts 2:5-12; 13:1-2;18:18; 20:6; 21::22-24; etc.). In fact, Yahshua himself observed this high holy day as He came unto his own Jewish brothers (Jn. 7:37-38).

Scripture tells us that the word of God is alive (Heb 4:12). It was alive when the original Hebrew nation was given this law which God spoke through Moses and it is alive today (Lev. 16:29-30). Because of Roman racist hatred of the Jewish believers they eradicated all traces of observance of this most High Holy Day from modern day version of what is called Christianity.
As it is the last days, truth crushed to the ground is rising again )Ps. 85:11). Thank God remnants of the original Jews who dwelled in Ethiopia, West Africa, and other regions retained the Jewish practices. They, like the original sebomenoi i.e. God Fearers (the original believers were called 'God Fearers" prior to being called Christians). At any rate, they continued these practices. In this end-time hour, the Holy Spirit is igniting many within the church to reinstitute the original practices as they contain great spiritual insight into the mindset and ways of Yahweh as He was originally referred to. Leviticus 16:29-30
Of a truth, Christ is preparing a church without spot or wrinkle to do end-time exploits just as His word proclaimed (Eph. 5:27; Dn. 11:32). It is the very SIGN that Yahshua's return is nigh, even at the door. As so, even though a lot of us don't grasp the fullness thereof, let us do our best to reinstate and honor many of the original feasts especially this Rosh Hashannah week that led to the Most High Holy Day of Yom Kippur.
Yom Kippur i.e. Day of Atonement began 9:27/09 and ends at nightfall 9/28/09. The Jews fast and pray during this period. They repent of all their sins and the sins of the nation. As so, let us do likewise.
Let us pray:
Our dear Heavenly Father, we come to you in Yahshua's Name. We thank you for who you are and what you are all about. We thank you for who Yahshua is and what He is all about. We thank you for the Ruach HaKodash i.e. Holy Spirit and who He is and what He is all about (Jn. 14-17). We thank you for this High Holy Day whereupon we come prostrated before thy holy majesty asking forgiveness for our personal sins. Yes, sins of commission and omission. We ask forgiveness for our family, church, nation's sins. In fact, the sins of the world.
We have sinned against you as a people. Our black community is decimated to an unholy degree. We ask forgiveness for our lack of prayer and care. We ask forgiveness for cursing the darkness rather than lighting a candle. We ask forgiveness for walking in the 'Willie Lynch' divisive mentality instead of the mentality of Christ who alone can break this damage and unite us.
We thank you for the many righteous blacks whom you used to do exploits. We thank you for their sacrifices and ask your forgiveness for not remembering and honoring them to the degree that they should be honored. We thank you for our struggle and seeing us through it. We thank you for the righteous who have upheld the black nation and raised up sons and daughters to honor you.
We ask forgiveness for those who have not. We ask forgiveness for not being there for those who are in ghettos. We pray your mercy down upon them. We pray the Holy Spirit fire moves in these communities and cleans them up. We ask forgiveness for all the immorality that abounds in the black community. Promiscuity, abortions, murders, crime, drug abuse. These sins are grievous sins before you. I pray a revival to come in their midst that such might know you Heavnly Father and your true will and ways for them. Touch them and let them see that is is your will to change, cleanse and use such to mightily to do your will. We pray they will be moved to repent.
Like Daniel the prophet repented on behalf of the Jews of His day, so we, Father repent on behalf of our black nation (Dn. 9:20-22). Blacks have not unified and done the exploits you would have us to do. Many remain uneducated, poverty stricken, living in ignorance, disobedient and recklessly blinded to the blessings and opportunities you made possible through the righteous fightback of your blessed believers who did do exploits. From Harriet Tubman, Fredrick Douglass all the way to Dr. Martin Luther King and the Civil rights movement, righteous blacks were quickened by your Holy Spirit to do exploits and exploits they did! Thank you for each and every one of them.
Many remained asleep amidst these victories to the point that they opposed the righteous whom you raised up. They did it then Father, and they are doing it today. Please put a stop to their madness that would not be found out. Please exalt the righteous in spite of the wicked black skinned enemies within who would seek to destroy the works of righteousness.
Yashua you said, 'you are coming back for a church without spot or wrinkle' (Eph. 5:27). Do remove all the 'wrinkles' that would hinder us as a people. Do pour out your Spirit among African/Americans. Thank you for the multitude of blessings seen and unseen. Thank you for the exaltation of we African/American people via putting one of ours' in the most High office in the land, the White House.
I pray your blessings, guidance, wisdom, skill, favor, grace upon our beloved President Obama. I thank you that you gave him a heart that favors your masses instead of honoring the rich. Oh God, fight those who would fight Him. As you have given him a heart to help the Middle class and poor obtain proper health care, open the door that the proper bill he wanted might pass.
Put a stop, shame and completely remove those wicked beings who, out of a demonic spirit of racism would withstand him. Father, forgive us for not regularly calling out this demonic spirit of racism for what it is. Many feared it and walked on eggshells around it. Now, we ask you to destroy it! Completely remove its' effects off of us.
Father, we not only pray for the sins of our own community but the sins of America as a whole. We pray that all factions of believers be they white, brown, yellow, red would also repent before you Oh, Heavenly Father. We pray that our nation would lift up righteousness at all times.
We pray that the rights of all would be respected. We pray that we would be good imitators of you who let your 'sun shine on the just and the unjust.' We pray Oh, Heavenly Father we pray as best we can for our nation's economic, political, religious, judicial, scientific, entertainment, social and cultural hierarchies to repent and walk in righteousness before you.
Continue to raise up righteous men and women out of all walks of life to make a difference. We pray for our military to walk in righteousness. We pray for our soldiers to be protected wherever they are stationed be it Afghanistan or Iraq. We pray for our soldier's safe removal out of Iraq.
We pray for our religious leaders. We ask that you would move on their hearts and cause them to cry for repentance for each ethnic group as well as the nation as a whole. We pray for mercy against the evils that were unleashed by the former powers that be. We pray against this new devil in our midst. A foreign demonic machine that is set up to kill, steal and destroy. We pray it will be exposed and destroyed that Americans may live in peace and safety.
May each of us, rededicate our lives to you and ask that the Holy Spirit sets our souls ablaze anew. We ask for a revival that will cleanse the nation. We ask for cleansing from perversity and all the other evils. We ask that you begin in our prison system where homosexuality is prevalent and spread deliverance abroad throughout the land.
We ask that cleansing from fornication, adultery, perversity, etc., would begin.
We ask that righteous fathers would remain in the home We thank you for each and every righteous black man out there. Continue to bless our beloved righteous fathers, sons, uncles, brothers, nephews, cousins, friends who we love so dear. Bless them, protect them, strengthen them, make them wiser than their enemies. Be it, the enemy within or out. Oh Heavenly Father, set their souls afire with the Holy Spirit.
We also pray for the lost black male factions who have done we as a people much evil. They are criminals, rapists, murderers, thieves, adulterers, drug addicts, pushers, etc. Such promote violence as a way of life and have decimated our communities. They are slaveshackled fools thinking themselves wise. They are servants of Satan and too blind to see it. They are a disgrace, a dishonor. a curse, a slave and not a free man. We ask that the Holy Spirit come against their madness lest they continue to violate the righteous among us.
We ask that the fire of the Holy Spirit will cause them to repent but if they don't, we ask that you remove and come against them that they do no more violence to the righteous among us.
We also pray that you will raise up righteous fathers to come into the homes of many a single mother and be a blessing and not a curse
We pray for black women. We pray for you to help us to walk in righteousness, and holiness. Continually bless those who do. Raise us up leaders to unite and usher in the end-time exploits that you will use black women to do. For, just as it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end.
That is, our dear Heavenly Father you ushered in the birth of Your son via the praises of Mary and Elizabeth (Lk. 1:26-80). When we see the exact same holy sign of the righteous black woman once again lifted up with the herald and praises of the Messiah, we will know that the rapture is at hand. You did it with Harriet and Sojourner, and a host of other unsung heroines and you will and in fact, are doing it today. This is the sacred secret, mighty, strong, and true that many will not see (Gen. 3:15). It is the Lord's doing and it is marvelous in my eyes!
Set we and our families ablaze with the fire of the Holy Spirit and let the end-time signs, wonders, miracles be in our midst. Forgive us for our sins of division. Help us to unify. Bless our community with peace, prosperity, wholesomeness. Remove every obstacle that would hinder us.
Change the hearts of women who have turned to the occult. Bring them back into the fold. Pour out your spirit on women who are unsaved and unwholesome in their outlook on life. Pour out your Spirit and cause them to repent. Come against every wicked work. Expose and destroy it. Open our eyes to see the fullness of our worth in you and help us to walk therein.
We ask that our children would be educated to the umpteenth degree. We ask that our children would have a heart towards righteousness and turn away from violence, promiscuity, drugs, immorality, and in its' place, recognize and receive their godly worth. They are kings/Queens and priests/priestesses
before you (Rev. 1:6). Let them walk in the liberty wherewith you have set them free.
