YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more so that there will be not only enough for your own needs but plenty left over to give joyfully to others (2 Corinthians 9:8 TLB)
One day, while relaxing in my apartment in Bietry Abidjan, I watched on the television as a certain Businessman and Philanthropist announced that he was donating billions of dollars to the United Nations to support their work around the world. I was moved at how one man could take such step in the world where others are crying for aids from the same UN.
You must understand that the world must always be full of these two groups of people – those who are helping others, and those who are waiting to be helped. You have to make up your mind which group you want to belong to.
God’s dream for you is to become so influential and powerful that you could become a source of help to several others. He doesn’t want you to be the one complaining of harsh economic situation, or why the government hasn’t done something; His dream for you is to make you so successful that you cannot be ignored.
Maybe you‘re reading this and wondering, Brother Denis Chijioke, I really want to make a difference but I have so little presently. How do I begin?’ Jesus said, ‘He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much’ (Luke 16:10). In other words, if you can take a step at the level you are now and reach out to help the person next to you; God can trust you to do it on a global scale. The moment you start helping somebody else, the angels of God will recognise you and they will immediately start channelling finances to you because you are a man or woman who is willing to make a difference in the lives of others
PRAYER
Dear Father, I have received your Word today and I am standing to be counted as a world changer. Help me continually to see the opportunities that exist all around me to help others, and I thank you because I know that as I faithfully do this at my level, you are taking me to even greater levels of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
