THE REAL SECRET TO MY SUCCESS
{I Learned to Pray Like Paul}

The authority of the believer is unveiled more fully in the book of Ephesians than any other epistle written to the churches. Because this book is based on Ephesians, let me encourage you to pray these prayers often.

Paul didn't pray these prayers only for the Church at Ephesus. These prayers apply to us today just as much as they did to the believers at Ephesus, because they were given by the Holy Spirit.

The turning point came when I prayed these prayers for myself more than a thousand times.

I spent much time praying these prayers on my knees at the altar in my last church in San Diego. I spent about six months praying this way. Then the first thing I was praying for began to happen. You see, I had been praying for “the spirit of wisdom and revelation: (Eph. 1:17), and the spirit of revelation began to function! I began to see things in the Bible I had never seen before. It just began to open up to me. I advanced more in spiritual growth and knowledge of the Word in those six months than I had in 15 years as a minister and as a believer.

We must have this spirit of wisdom and revelation of Christ and His Word if we are to grow. It’s not going to be imparted to us through intellect, either. The Holy Spirit must unveil it to us.

People often want to know how to pray for fellow Christians who are struggling and being challenged. If you start praying these Ephesian prayers for them, you’ll see miraculous results in their lives. But friend, I also want to remind you to be diligent in praying them often for yourself.

Praying these prayers out loud daily will increase your understanding of the Word of God and reveal to you the deep and hidden things of God you have longed to know,

PRAYERS THAT RELEASE DIVINE REVELATION FROM HEAVEN'S THRONE ROOM

Praying these prayers out loud daily will increase your understanding of the Word of God and reveal to you the deep and hidden things of God you have longed to know:
_____________________

Through JESUS CHRIST, I can boldly enter heaven’s Most Holy Place because of the blood of Jesus. By His death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way (for me) through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. And since I have a great High Priest who rules over God’s house, I can go right into the presence of God (as I worship, and when I pray, with thanksgiving and praise --- Psalm 100:4) with a sincere heart fully trusting Him. For my guilty conscience has been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make me clean, and my body has been washed with pure water by His Word -- Ephesians 5:26). Therefore, I hold firmly without wavering in the hope I affirm (as I daily speak confessions of faith), for God can be trusted to keep His promise (Hebrews 10:19-23).

I emulate my Heavenly Father who gives life to the dead and who creates new things out of nothing with the power of His anointed Word (Romans 4:17). I have the same spirit of faith as He has who wrote, “I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. I also believe, and therefore I speak (2 Corinthians 4:13)!”

I therefore, seize and hold fast, retaining without wavering, in the hope I cherish, my confession of faith, [and my acknowledgement of it], for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His Word. I do not grow impatient, weary, doubtful or double-minded while waiting for the manifestation of my good (already received by faith); for it is written “through faith and patience, that we inherit what has been promised (Hebrews 6:12, Hebrews 10:23, James 1:6-8)!”

NOTHING IN ALL CREATION IS HIDDEN FROM GOD!
Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to whom we are accountable (Hebrews 4:13). For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires (Hebrews 4:12).Therefore, keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then shall I be blameless, and I shall be innocent and clear of great transgression. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer (Psalm 19:13-14).

Isaiah 11:2-7, Psalm 1:3
FATHER GOD, may the Spirit rest upon ME—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. May I always delight in obeying You; so that I will not judge by mere appearances nor make any decision based on hearsay. I pray that You will help me to discipline myself to study Your unfailing Word and to be constantly motivated and diligent to meditate on it both day and night. I know that if I do these things Heavenly Father, I shall be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither; and whatever I do shall prosper!!!

Acts 2:22, Acts 2:43, Acts 3:6-11
Father God, I pray that I may be just like Jesus who was a man authenticated to the world and the Church by God through miracles, wonders, and signs that You, [Father God] perform through me -- among the people. Like the Apostles of the Lamb in the early Church, I yield my total being to You so that You may perform many wonders and signs through me. And may multitudes be saved and filled with amazement (and with Holy Spirit) when they see the miracles (of Divine healing) that You perform for others [through me]; as they stand in my presence, giving You all the praise and the glory for the miraculous things You have done! For the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear, the bound are set free, and the dead are raised to life; even the poor have the good news preached unto them, delivering them permanently out of poverty.

1 Corinthians 1:4-10
My prayer is that God, who is generous in gifts, will enrich our Churches with spiritual gifts [the 9 gifts of the Spirit as spoken of in 1 Cor. 12:1-11], of eloquence and every kind of knowledge, for this confirms that everything I have taught them about Christ is true. My prayer is that each church under my covering will be endowed with every kind of spiritual gift needed as we eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. For I am confident that He will keep us strong right up to the end, and He will keep us free from blame on the great day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. I am confident that God will surely do this for us, for He always does just what He says. He is the one who invited us into this wonderful friendship with His Son, Jesus our Lord. Finally brethren, I pray that we never waste time arguing amongst ourselves and that we will let there be (real) enduring harmony so there won’t ever be divisions in any of our churches. I pray that we will be of one mind, united in thought and purpose (1 Cor. 1:4-10).

Ephesians 1:17-23
Glorious Heavenly Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, I keep asking You, God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give unto me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know You better. I pray also that the eyes of my heart may be enlightened in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of Your glorious inheritance in Your holy people, and Your incomparably great power for us who believe. I realize Father, that this power is the same as the mighty strength You exerted when You raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your own right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Father God I rejoice that You have placed all things under His feet (and under my feet since I am seated with Him in heavenly places -- Ephesians 2:6) and appointed Him to be head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way.

Ephesians 3:14-21
For this reason I bow my knees to You; Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that You would grant me, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in my inner man, that Christ may dwell in my heart through faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that I may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now unto You who are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me, to You be glory in the church by [Your Son] Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen!

Ephesians 4:1-3
My constant prayer is that I may lead a life worthy of the calling to which I have been called, with all humility and gentleness, patience; bearing with my brothers and sisters in Christ in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Colossians 1:8-14
I do not cease to pray and to ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that I may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to You, Father who has qualified me to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the light. You have delivered me from the power of darkness and conveyed me into the kingdom of the Son of Your love, in whom I have redemption through His blood and the forgiveness of sins.

Colossians 2:6-10
My prayer is that because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, that I will [remain in Him] and continue to follow Him. I pray that my roots will grow down deep into Him, and that my life will be built on Him; drawing up nourishment from Him. So that my faith will grow strong in the truth I was taught, and so that my life will overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done. Additionally, I pray that I won’t let anyone capture (or ensnare) me with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking, (inspired by wicked spiritual powers of this world), rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. My prayer is that I will have the realization and a true revelation that I am complete through my union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler, authority, and power!

1 Thessalonians 1:4-7
Father God may Your anointing fall on me when I am sharing with believers how deeply You love each one of us; having literally chosen us to be Your very people. My prayer is that when I declare the Word of God that it will not merely be expressed in words but also with great demonstration of power; so that the Holy Spirit will be able to give all hearers [and true believers] the assurance that what I am saying is true! My prayer is also that everyone will see how deeply I am concerned about them by the love I express, by the way I live, and by the things I do in their presence! Father God, help me to live holy and walk in love so that my life will be a witness to everyone who sees me; and so that they will be able to receive my message [The Gospel] with joy, from the Holy Spirit in spite of any persecution or suffering it may bring them. For in this way, they will have imitated both me and the Lord, Jesus Christ. My prayer is that each one of us will be ever mindful that we must always strive to be an example to both believers and unbelievers [in the cities where we dwell] and throughout the entire world.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)
May the God of peace Himself sanctify me through and through; and separate me from profane things, making me pure and wholly consecrated to Him; so that my spirit, soul, and body will be preserved sound and complete, and found blameless at the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Faithful and utterly trustworthy are You, Lord God! For it is You who are calling me to walk with You [and live for You] and You will also do it and fulfill Your call by sanctifying, consecrating, and keeping me.

2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
Because our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ shall soon return, my constant prayer is that our God will enable me to live a life worthy of His calling. May He give me the power to accomplish all the good things my faith prompts me to do. Then the Name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way I live, and I will be honored along with Him. I realize that this can only be made possible because of the grace of my God and my Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen!

2 Thessalonians 2:15-17
Father God, since Jesus Christ’s coming is so near, I pray that You will help us to STAND FIRM and I pray for the Body of Christ (which also includes Faith That Triumphs Global Ministries) that we will also stand firm and keep a strong grip on the teachings we have received from the Apostles. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and (You) God our Father, who loves us and by Your grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope; comfort us and strengthen us in every good thing we do and say! In the Name of Jesus (whose coming is imminent!), I pray and offer thanksgiving. Amen and Amen!

1 Timothy 1:19, 1 Corinthians 6:18-19, Hebrews 4:15-16, Philippians 3:14
Father God, when I am tempted to sin, help me to flee immorality and always yield to Your Holy Spirit; for doing so will keep my conscience clear. Your Holy Word warns all men: that if we deliberately continue to do things that violate our conscience [by sinning against our bodies] it puts us at risk of shipwrecking our faith. Lord, because You came in the flesh, You fully understand how alluring and enticing some sinful acts can be; for Scripture says, “We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.” Therefore, help me to draw near with confidence to the throne of grace so that I can receive mercy and find grace to help in my time of need (and temptation). Help me to always remember that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me (whom I have from God) and that I am not my own, for I have been bought with a price. I declare today with boldness and confidence that I press on toward the goal which is to glorify God in my body and to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus!

Hebrews 13:20-21
Now may the God of peace—
[Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], Who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with His blood—
may He Strengthen, complete, perfect, and make me what I ought to be and equip me with everything good that I may do and carry out His will; while He Himself works in me and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be the glory forever and ever, to the ages of the ages. Amen and so be it!

Psalm 119:130
Father God, Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm119:105); for the unfolding of Your Words gives us light, and even gives understanding to the simple.

THE APOSTLE'S PRAYER FOR WISDOM
Solomon’s Prayer for Wisdom --
Special Note: (I use this same prayer)

Now, O Lord my God, you have made me an Apostle and placed me here in the midst of Your own chosen people, an international community of believers so great and numerous they cannot be counted!

Give me an understanding heart so that I can Shepherd Your people well and know the difference between right and wrong for good judgment wins favor (Prov. 13:15) . For who by himself is able to Pastor this great people of yours?” Therefore, give unto your servant wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore (Proverbs 8:14).

Like king Solomon, may I bask in Your secret counsel and confidential communion and may my wisdom and prosperity far exceed what others are being told about me. May those whom I minister to and those who labor with me find it a privilege to stand before me day after day as they listen to my wisdom! May the entire world praise You O Lord my God and give glory to You; because it is evident to them that You delight in me and have placed me in this ministry office. You have done this because of Your eternal love for Your people.

My heart cries unto thee Jehovah (God), "Give unto thy servant O Lord, wisdom so that I may minister and counsel with justice, integrity, and righteousness. And give unto thy servant an obedient heart {like David's} so that I may always obey ALL of your commandments, following you with all my heart, and always do whatever you want me to do (1 Kings 14:8). Father give unto thy servant, Infinite, wisdom, knowledge, understanding, discernment, and comprehension, for these come only from You! I ask this prayer in the Name of your Son, Jesus [The Christ, The Anointed One], Amen!"

THE PRAYER EVERY BISHOP AND EVERY MINISTRY LEADER SHOULD PRAY DAILY:

Father God, help me to be a good leader who is able to manage God’s household well. Give me Your wisdom and endow me with the knowledge and experience necessary to be a good father, a good (and faithful) husband, and an anointed priest in my home. Because the anointing of God is attractive, many ministers fall as a result of infidelity (being carried away and enticed by their own lust) and thus, bring a reproach upon the Name of Jesus Christ; destroying their families and even their ministries; for when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death. Therefore, Lord, please show me how to live a blameless life and to be a godly man who is not arrogant or quick-tempered. Strengthen me in my inner man so that I never [succumb and/or] become addicted to alcohol, any form of drugs or sexual addictions.

My desire is to walk in love, to be temperate and self-controlled; not violent, or dishonest with money. Give unto me a spirit of hospitality so that when people visit my home and ministries they feel the [welcoming] love of God and the presence of Your Holy Spirit. Teach me to live wisely and to be just in all my dealings. Since discipline has prospering power, help me to live a devout and disciplined life [one that brings You maximum glory] and to be knowledgeable of Your Word, able to rightly divide it and teach it effectively. Father God, my heart’s desire is to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Then and only then, will I be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong (Titus 1:7-9, Ephesians 6:10, James 1:13-14). I make the quality decision today to study the Word of God concerning any areas of need in my life. I (believe and) now ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to me the spiritual laws I need to clearly see (and walk in the light of), and put into practice so that I may obtain the victory in every area of my life.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus, (whose coming is imminent), I pray. Amen (and so be it!)

PRAYER FOR FAITH THAT TRIUMPHS GLOBAL MINISTRIES

Heavenly Father, observe the threats of all who oppose our ministry endeavors and grant to Your servants full freedom to declare Your message fearlessly to all nations; while You stretch forth Your hand to cure and to perform miraculous signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the Name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.

I earnestly pray that in each place we assemble and every time we come to worship together, that the place where we are will be shaken by Your power, might and your presence; and that all will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and that we will fearlessly continue to speak the Word of God with freedom, boldness and courage.

My prayer is that our ministry will function like the early company of believers who were of one heart and mind; with no one claiming that anything they possess is exclusively their own; having everything in common with each person, and willing to share what they have for the use and benefit of all.

Heavenly Father, from the Word we can see that the result of operating the ministry this way will result in great demonstrations of Your strength and power. For Your expression of loving-kindness will rest upon each of us and You will give to us the power, favor and ability to testify to the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and of His soon return! Nor shall there be any among us who are destitute or needy.

May Your great Spirit of love and generosity touch the hearts and minds of business owners and entrepreneurs in our midst and even those who have a surplus of lands and houses and motivate them to sell them and freely donate the proceeds for the work and expansion of the ministry. May they freely bring their gifts without any reservation or delay and lay them at our feet so that everyone who is truly in need may be blessed and all poverty may be eradicated from our midst. I pray this in the Name of Jesus’ because I know that all things are possible to them that believe the Word, confess the Word, and act on the Word. Amen! (ACTS 4:29-37)

Lord, may the Church enjoy your peace and grow in strength and in numbers and may the believers in our congregation (s) walk in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit. (Acts 9:31)

WE ARE SURROUNDED BY GOD'S PROTECTION, OVERTAKEN BY GOD'S PROMOTION, SUPPLIED WITH GOD'S PROSPERITY, AND SUSTAINED BY GOD'S PERPETUITY!

THE ELDER'S PRAYER:
Father God, my prayer is to be a good Elder who is able to manage God’s household well. Lord, help me to live a blameless life and to be a godly man who is not arrogant or quick-tempered. Strengthen me in my inner man so that I never [succumb and/or] become addicted to alcohol or any form of drugs. Since discipline has prospering power, help me to live a devout and disciplined life [one that brings You maximum glory] and to be knowledgeable of Your Word; strong in the Lord and in the power of Your might. Then and only then, will I be able to encourage others with wholesome teaching and show those who oppose it where they are wrong (Titus 1:7-9, Ephesians 6:10 ).

God’s mighty power at work within me is now carrying out His purpose and is accomplishing (superabundantly), infinitely more; and is exceeding my highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams in every area of my life and ministry (Ephesians 3:20).
