"You shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you THERE."
-1 Kings 17:4 (AMP)

God has a plan and purpose for every one of His children, it is important
for us to know this and align ourselves into His plan for our lives in
order for us to benefit wholly from His grace and provision.
God instructed Elisha to go to the brook, it didn’t seem to be a very good
idea then, as there was famine in the land, the credit crunch was so
bad, that everyone was trying to figure out how to sort themselves out
and probably going to ‘the place’ that seems to be flourishing then.
Going to the brook looked like going to where nothing was happening,
but it is where God had ordained that Elisha His servant will be fed
and sustained in the midst of the crunch.
Many struggle through life, they seem to do all that they know how to do, but nothing just
works for them, if Elisha didn’t go to the brook as God ordered him, he
would have just been miserable and frustrated with all his anointing.
Proverbs 27:8 says “Like a bird that wanders from its nest is a man who wanders from his place”.
God said He had commanded the ravens to feed Elisha ‘there’, there is a
place where God intends for us to be at every point in time in our
journey of life, and it is only when we are correctly positioned in
that place that we will be able to benefit from the sustenance and
goodness of God.
