We all know how the great Exodus of Moses and the Israelites began, Exodus 12:29 says ?And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.? This act of God led to them making it to and across the Red Sea, which shows that God is with you before you go through whatever you?re about to go through, it shows that when a road block comes in your way that God is there to move it out of your way and see you through. Now this leads up to the wilderness experience, and we all have to go through our own wilderness experience where we feel like we?re lost and just wandering hopelessly around. It seems that we?re out there all alone, b/c God takes us out of our comfort zone and when that happens we want to go running back to the very thing that God has delivered us from. It?s at this point that God is testing us to see if we?re truly trusting in Him, it?s easy to say Lord I?ll trust you, Lord I?ll do whatever you want me to do, Lord I?ll go where you send me, but the true test doesn?t start until God says move and it?s not the way that you would have wanted it to go or the way you expected it to go, but that?s when my mind goes back to that saying He may not come when you want him, but He?s right on time. Remember that as you go through your wilderness experience that you?re not alone the Bible says in Hebrews 13:5 ?Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.? What this is saying that no matter what you have no matter how small it seems remember that Christ is there with you and when you have Christ you have enough.
