Your will or God's will
We all seem to want everything our way, but we can not have it our way, our life does not belong to Burger King, but to God, God has His certain will for us.
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. " Matthew 7:21
We try to make our will God's will by turning the bible around to fit our wants, knowing that God did not not want it that way. We must read the bible more and more and stay prayed up so that we would know what God's will is and not let our flesh take over our decision making.
The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law. Deuteronomy 29:29
We try to make God want us to have a certain situation or thing for us, but we must pray for it and ask God if that is good for us and is it his will for us to have it or go through it, because God only knows our future and what the outcome will be , we can not see into our future, so try to do what is right for us by praying on everything that we do.
But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Job 23:10
God knows what you need and also he knows what you want in life.Stay strong and know that God will guide you in the right direction and take care of you, we all go through different trials that are not the same kind of trial that others are going through. Your trial is the will of God for us to grow strong in the Lord and depend on him. If every day is just dandy and sweet for us no situation that we need help from God, our life would be upside down, and thats why we have trials to build ourselves and to learn from the situations we go through but with God's help to get us through.
You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the miraculous signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear. Deuteronomy 7:19
God wants us to call on him for help and guidance in our life, so read the bible and stay prayed up every day to the Lord .
You acn't have it your way like those Burger King commercials we see on television, our life is God's way or the wrong way.
Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, Exodus 19:5
So try to make the right decisions in life in any situation by depending on God for guidance. That will be in looking for a spouse, job, home and ohers that we desire.
Is not my house right with God? Has he not made with me an everlasting covenant, arranged and secured in every part? Will he not bring to fruition my salvation and grant me my every desire? 2 Samuel 23:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart , and lean not unto thine own understanding . In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he sahll direct thy paths Proverbs 3:5-6

Prayer: O Lord, trusting in you makes me happy. i put my complete trust in ou, and as I do so, I know you willsave me and deliver me. Because I trust in you I am able to rejoice, and I experience the tremendous joy that comes to all who love your name. lord, I thank you, Father, I know that I will never be led into confusion. Because I trust you, I now experience your perfect peace in my life. in jesus' name, Amen.
