I've heard it also, and the only way I see it lining up in the word is this God calls preachers, every preacher then is a pastor as you see in many other churches and in different denominations. So then the Bishop then becomes the Head Pastor for lack of a better term. The only way it makes sense to me. But we who are baptist have the associate and the pastor. And the one problem I see with the Bishop being the pastor's pastor is that now the word does not give qualification for a pastor.
