A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. 'I've gone for 30 years now,' he wrote, 'and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all. This started a real controversy in the 'Letters to the Editor' column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: 'I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals. But I do know this; they all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!' When you are DOWN to nothing.... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment! I think everyone should read this! 'When Satan is knocking at your door, simply say; 'Jesus, could you get that for me?'

I am not asking how are you doing because it's becoming the non-sense question nowdays. I know how you are feeling because I have been there and every month it's s truggle, especially since the US$ went so low against the Euro. But there are times when the Lord will allow us to go through testings, to refine our faith and se (show us) where we are thruly standing in the faith! Often we claim that we have faith in God, but at the first testing we ...panic! So, if you life is in God, then rest in His arms and glorify His name through the testing. The enemy can't stand a child of God who still worships Him even through the fire! So, he has to run away and leave you alone! Praise God!!!

As you have requested prayer, I have indeed begun to lift you and your husband before the Lord. There is a great joy in knowing that God who is too wise to make a mistake will take care of your every need, nevertheless I understand that sometimes we get anxious when we see the numbers on the negative side adding up when the numbers on the positive side don't seem to move. Be still and know that He is God. I thank God for a job being released to both you and your husband and until then, I pray that you will have a powerful support system that finds it to be a joy to bless you. Dry your eyes, God has not forgotten you.
