Sister Tracy,

You said:

"...Has anyone here said that there is more than ONE God?"

So we all agree that there is ONE GOD. But, that is not the question.

The Question lies in the fact that you fail to explain clearly your following theory:

"THREE PERSONS IN GOD"

And your common answer to that question is:

The holy Trinity is a mystery, nothing more, nothing less!

If that mystery has been revealed to you, then you must be able to explain it in light of the Holy Scriptures.

Father = one Person

The Son = one Person

Holy Spirit = one person

Father is God + Holy Spirit is God + The Son is God = THREE PERSONS = ONE God

One God + One God+ One God = THREE PERSONS = ONE God

Trinitarians fail to explain this difficult and absurd equation.

Is this the creed of the earlier Church?

No! The Holy Bible doesn't support this satanic doctrine.

What a funny doctrine!

Blessings,

Very good!

Dear sister Tracy,

Can you explain me the verse 17 of John Chapter 14 ?

"Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you".

"...AND SHALL BE IN YOU..."?

Besides, Brother Paul said:

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me".

Galatians 2:20

"...BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME..."

Do the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ represent TWO PERSONS who live in each believer?

No, Trinity is the scientific(mathematic) approach of the Holy Scriptures.

A true believer will recognize that "...whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit"(1 Corinthians 6:17).

Thus, the Holy Spirit is nothing but the Spirit of Jesus Christ. We are not in the presence of two persons of the so calkled Trinity, but we see here One person, namely Jesus Christ, living in the believers by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit.

I realize that before believing in the doctrine of the Holy Trinity, one must be first a learned sage, a very good scientist: 1+1= 2

Jesus Christ + Holy Spirit = TWO PERSONS

However, the true Church of Jesus Christ receives the truth by revelation, by faith, by the Holy Spirit: This truth is as follows: 1+1= 1

Jesus Christ+ Holy Spirit= ONE PERSON

This truth hardly hurts the logic of the Trinitarians.

Sister Tracy, I'm waiting for your answer.

“…So let me ask you the question. Is there not heirarchy in the scriptures between Father and Son? did the Father not place all things under the Son feet ( Psalm 8:5-7) And does the Son, then place all things under the Father?
Was it not the Father that called you (Eph 1:4) (John 6:44) the Son that saved and redeemed you (Eph 1:7) (Roms 5:10) and the Holy Spirit that has sealed you (Eph 1:13) (Eph 4:30) ?

HIERARCHY BETWEEN THE FATHER AND THE SON?

HIERARCHY BETWEEN GOD AND JESUS CHRIST?

Dear sister, Jesus said that All authority has been given to Him in Heaven and on Earth (Matthew 28: 18).

According to your scientific, logic, arithmetic and intellectual understanding of the Holy Scriptures, can we say that if the donor(God the Father), "the first person of trinity" gives all His Authority to the recipient(Jesus the Son),"the second person of the trinity", then, He(the Father) would have nothing left, since the Bible says “ALL AUTHORITY”?

Thus, what about the Holy Spirit, "the third person of the trinity"?

According to your scientific, logic, arithmetic and intellectual understanding of the Holy Scriptures, can we assert that, since the Son has been given ALL AUTHORITY, He became by this mean more powerful than the Father and the Holy Spirit?

Dear sister Caral, the Bible says:

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Acts 1:8

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE POWER. JESUS CHRIST IS ALSO THE POWER.

GOD IS THE POWER. GOD IS ONE PERSON.

Indeed, the Bible declares:

"Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!"

Revelation 5:13

THE POWER IS NOT FOR THREE PERSONS OF THE SO CALLED TRINITY, BUT THE POWER IS FOR THE ONE WHO SITS ON THE THRONE, NAMELY GOD, THE LAMB OR JESUS CHRIST. AMEN!

Dear sister, may God open your eyes so that you can see that there is no HIERARCHY but Jesus Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

The power and the Wisdom are the attributes of God. Jesus being the wisdom and the power of God doesn’t mean that Jesus is a second person as powerful, wise as God.

Jesus being the wisdom and the power of God doesn’t mean that Jesus is a second person more powerful, wise than God.

Jesus Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God (1Corinthians 1: 23-24) is our great God Himself (Titus 2:13-14), manifested in a body of flesh.

Why do you refer to the concept of Hierarchy while we are in the presence of ONE PERSON, namely JESUS - CHRIST, the Almighty God?

Dear sister, can you please answer my following Question?

The answer of my question will also be the answer of yours.

Indeed, if there is a HIERARCHY BETWEEN THE FATHER AND THE SON, then, why all the names or attributes which we find in connection with God the Father, we also find them in connection with the Lord Jesus, the Son?

A - THE SPIRIT

1- God (YAHWEH) is Spirit.

John 4: 24, Isaiah 63: 10-14.

2- Jesus-Christ is also Spirit

2 Corinthians 3: 17.

It is here about the same God (Yahweh), the same Spirit, the Holy Spirit!!!

The Bible declares:

« They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the LORD Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the LORD Almighty was very angry”.

Zechariah 7:12

It was the same Spirit Who led the Man Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the devil (Matthew 4:1). It was the same Spirit Who anointed the Man Jesus(Acts 10:38). It was the same Spirit Who dwelt inside the Man Jesus. The Almighty God was in the Man Jesus in order to save us.

B- THE REDEEMER AND SAVIOR

1- God (YAHWEH) is the single Redeemer and Savior

- Isaiah 35: 4; 63: 16; 44: 6, 24; 48:17; 43: 3, 11,14; 45: 21; 47: 4; 49: 26;
- Psalm 78: 34-35; 106: 21;
- Luke 1: 46-47; 1Timothy 4: 10, 2: 3; Titus 3: 4; - Daniel 6: 26-27; Zechariah 12: 7; Jude 25.

2- Jesus-Christ is also the single Redeemer and Savior

-1John 4: 14; Luke 24: 21, 2: 10-11; Philippians 3: 20; Titus 1:
4; Galatians 3: 13;
-1 Peter 1: 10-11, 2: 21-24;
- Acts 20: 28, 13: 23; Hebrews 7: 25;
- John 4: 40-42, 12: 47; Matthew 1: 21.
- Zechariah 9:9

There are not two Redeemers and Saviors (in one hand Jesus, a small god, the Son, and in other hand His Father, Yahweh, the Great God).No!
All the Scriptures above speak about the same Almighty God Who is the single Redeemer and Savior. His name revealed in the New Testament is Jesus-Christ!!!

Let us see it:

“And Jehovah shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified over Judah”.

Zechariah 12:7

“And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplications; and they shall look on me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for an only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn”.

Zechariah 12:10

Jehovah, the Savior in the Old Testament is the Firstborn; the savior in the New Testament Who has been pierced, namely Jesus-Christ (Luke 24:39-41, Revelation 1:7).

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name is called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace”.

Isaiah 9:6

Let us see it again:

“bondmen to be subject to their own masters, to make themselves acceptable in everything; not gainsaying; not robbing [their masters], but shewing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the teaching which is of our Saviour God in all things”.

Titus 2:9-10

The Bible declares that God is our Savior. What does it say about Jesus?

“awaiting the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all lawlessness, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous for good works”.

Titus 2:13-14

Jesus is not a small god beside Yahweh the great God, but Jesus Himself is our great God and Savior. Yahweh, the Savior in the Old Testament is Jesus the Savior in the New Testament Insofar as there are not two gods or two saviors. Amen!

Please, answer this question:

“To whom then will ye liken God? and what likeness will ye compare unto him?

Isaiah 40:18

God is one!!!!

Our great God and Saviour is Jesus Christ!!!

“and almost all things are purified with blood according to the law, and without blood-shedding there is no remission.”

Hebrews 9:22

God being Spirit, It was necessary that He formed a body of flesh, having blood, for sacrifice which erased all our iniquities (Hebrews 9: 11-15, 10: 4-5).
“For blood of bulls and goats is incapable of taking away sins. Wherefore coming into the world he says, Sacrifice and offering thou willedst not; but thou hast prepared me a body”.

Hebrews 10:4-6

Jesus is God manifested in Flesh in order to save us. Amen!

C - THE CREATOR

1 – God (Yahweh) is the single Creator

- Genesis 1: 1, 2: 7; Job 38: 4, 33: 4; Zechariah 12: 1;
- Psalm 102: 26, 3: 6, 104: 30;
- Isaiah 40: 28, 44: 24, 45: 9-11,18;
- Malachi 2: 10, Nehemiah 9: 6; John 1: 1-5;
- Revelation 14: 7, 10: 6, 4: 11; Ephesians 3: 8-9.

2 -Jesus-Christ is also the single Creator

-John 1: 10; Colossians 1: 12-17; Revelation 21: 5-6.

There are not two creators or two people of a certain trinity who could be creators. The biblical passages above deal with the single God who is the Creator of the Heathen and the Earth, and His name is Jesus-Christ.

Let us see it!

“yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

1 Corinthians 8:6

Do you see two creators or two different people here?
The single God, the Father, is the Lord Jesus-Christ by Whom are all things. Amen!

D – THE SHEPHERD

1- God (Yahweh) is the single Shepherd

-Psalm 23: 1, 100: 3, 28: 9;
-Isaiah 40: 10-11.

2 - Jesus-Christ is the single Shepherd

- John 10: 8-16; 1 Peter 2: 21-25, 5: 4;
- Hebrews 13: 20.

There is only one herd and only one Shepherd, He is our God, our Lord and savior Jesus-Christ.

E-THE ROCK

1- God (Yahweh) is the single Rock

- Isaiah 44: 8, 17: 10;
- Psalm 18: 2-3, 28: 8, 31: 3-4, 42: 10, 78: 35, 89: 27;
-1Samuel 2: 2; 2 Samuel 22: 32;
- Deuteronomy 32: 14.

2- Jesus-Christ is the single Rock

- Isaiah 28: 16; Numbers 20: 11;
-1 Corinthians 10: 4; Acts 4: 11
-12; Ephesians 2: 20; - Matthew 16: 17-19; 1 Peter 2: 6-8.

There is only one Rock, it is our God and our Lord Jesus- Christ:
“and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank of a spiritual rock which followed them: now the rock was the Christ;”
1 Corinthians 10:4

Amen!

F- THE FIRST AND THE LAST

1 – God (Yahweh) is the First and the Last

- Isaiah 41: 4, 43: 10-13, 44: 6, 48: 12.

2 - Jesus-Christ is the First and the Last

- Revelation 1: 7-8, 17-18, 22: 13, 21: 6;
- Hebrews 13: 8

Do you see here two distinct, coequal and coeternal Gods?

The Bible is formal:

« And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be- “The LORD is one,”And His name one”.

Zechariah 14:9

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one”

Deuteronomy 6:4

G - THE KING

1- God (Yahweh) is the single King

- Psalm 44: 5, 47: 7-10, 74: 12;
- Isaiah 6: 5,43: 15, 44: 6;
- Zechariah 14: 9; Jeremiah 10: 10.

2- Jesus-Christ is the single King

- Matthew 2: 1-6, 27: 11;
- Luke 19: 38, 23: 3; Mark 15: 2; John 18: 33-36, 19: 21-22; 1 Timothy 6: 13-16;
- Revelation 1: 5, 15: 3-4, 19: 16, 17: 14;
- Zechariah 9: 9.

If God (Yahweh) is the everlasting King (Jeremiah 10: 10) and that Jesus-Christ is the King of the kings (Revelation 19:16), are we in the presence of two distinct people, two distinct Kings?
Can we have two distinct Kings, reigning in the Heaven and on the Earth? No!

There is only one God and only one King: He is Jesus-Christ. Indeed, “He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things” (Ephesians 4: 10)
Besides, the Bible declares:

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth”.

Matthew 28: 18

H – THE “I AM”

1-God(Yahweh) is known as: “I am He”

- Exodus 3: 13-14; Isaiah 43: 10-11, 25.

2 - Jesus-Christ is known as: “I am He”

- John 18: 5 – 8; 8: 24, 57-59; 9: 35-38; 13: 13;
- Revelation1: 7-8, 17,18;
- Luke 23: 3

God (Yahweh) alone is known as “I Am”. It is Jesus-Christ!!!
“Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by”.

John 8:57-59

I – HE WHO IS TO COME

1- God(Yahweh) is the One Who is to come

- Isaiah 40: 3-5; Psalm 50: 1-6; Zechariah 14: 3-5;

2- Jesus-Christ is the one Who is to come

-1 Thessalonians 3: 11-13, 4: 13-18; Revelation 19: 11-16;
- Malachi 3: 1; Matthew 25: 31-46; Revelation 1: 7-8.

There are not two or three distinct people who are to come. But we are “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,”

Titus 2: 13

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
"Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
"I, JESUS, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

Revelation 22:13-16

JESUS is not a small god beside Yahweh, but He is our great God and Savior! He is Yahweh Himself manifested in the flesh in order to save us! Amen!

J - THE HUSBAND

1- God (Yahweh) is our Husband

“For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. For the LORD has called you. Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused,” Says your God. “For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you”.

Isaiah 54: 5-7

2- Jesus-Christ is our Husband

- Acts 2: 19-20; Revelation 21: 9.

There is only one bride (the Church of Jesus-Christ) and also only one Husband: Yahweh manifested in flesh (Jesus-Christ), otherwise, we would be in the presence of an obvious case of polyandry.

THE SPIRIT

There is “one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 4:5-6

Who is the Father?

Who is the Son?

Who is the Holy Spirit?

They are not three people, but they are three different demonstrations of the single God (Yahweh)!

1-one God and Father of all, who is above all(Yahweh)

2-and through all( the man Jesus: Yahweh manifested in the flesh)

3-and in you all (The Holy Spirit).

THE FATHER, THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT REPRESENT ONE PERSON: JESUS CHRIST.

Indeed, Jesus said:

“And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

“A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you”.

John 14:16-20

Can someone explain the following sentence?

“At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you”.

Jesus Christ is in His Father, and He is in us.

Do you see three people here in each believer?

I see one person. Jesus the man, promised to come back and to live in the believers as the Helper. Jesus is the Helper, the Holy Spirit, living in us. Amen!

This is the reason why Brother Paul said:

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me”.

Galatians 2:20

Christ as the Holy Spirit lives in the believer. Amen!

Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Our body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

Besides, we must glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are God’s (1 Corinthians 6:20).

Please tell me, according to the biblical passages above, would our body be inhabited by three distinct people: the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit?
Please, stop cutting out God in small pieces!

The Son lives in the Father. The son lives in us and the Father lives in us. But we are inhabited by one Spirit, the Holy Spirit, Christ, the Almighty God (2 Corinthians 3: 17, Isaiah 63: 10).

Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit:

“Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty”.

2 Corinthians 3:17

God (Yahweh) is the Holy Spirit:

“But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; So He turned Himself against them as an enemy, And He fought against them”.

Isaiah 63:10, John 4:24

“But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the HOLY SPIRIT and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to GOD.”

Acts 5:3-4

Ananias has lied to the Holy Spirit. Ananias has lied to God (Yahweh).
God (Yahweh) is the Holy Spirit: Please compare Isaiah 6:8-9 to Acts 28:25-27. Yahweh, the Holy Spirit spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers. Amen!
The Bible declares that Mary was found with child of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 1:18, Luke 1:35).

This Holy Spirit is Yahweh Himself; this is the reason why the Son (the body of flesh, the man Jesus) Who was born took the name “YAHSHUA” which means: “GOD SAVES”. JAHSHUA is God manifested in the flesh in order to save us.
That Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ (Galatians 4:6, Acts 16:7, Philippians 1:19).
That Spirit of Christ was in the Prophets of the Old Testament testifying beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow:
“ Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven - things which angels desire to look into”.

1 Peter 1:10-12

“THE HOLY SPIRIT SENT FROM HEAVEN”! Amen!

Not two, not three people; but only one person (God) appearing in various ways. Amen!

1)Jesus-Christ comes from the Holy Spirit

Matthew 1: 20; Luke 1: 35.

2) Jesus-Christ is the Holy Spirit

2 Corinthians 3: 17; 1 Peter 1: 10-12

3-Jesus-Christ is God(Yahweh)

-John 7: 29; 8: 42; 16: 30; 17: 8; Colossians 1: 15; 2: 9
- John 1: 1-14, 3: 13 ;16: 15, 5: 17-19 ; 8: 58 ; 10: 30 ; 12: 45 ; 20: 28 ; 14: 5-11.
- Mark 10: 18 ; 12: 29.
-1John 1: 2 ; 5: 20.
- Zechariah 12: 1-10; 14: 3-5.
- Isaiah 9: 5-6; Philippians2: 6-8; Romans 9: 5; 1Timothy 3: 16; Titus 2: 13; revelation 4: 8; Hebrews 1: 8-10; Matthew 1: 23.

4) There is one God (Yahweh). Yahweh is the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is Yahweh manifested in the flesh (1Timothy 3:16; John 1:14)
Jesus-Christ (YAHSHUA) is the name of God who saves us. It is a marvellous name, carrying hope. It is the name above all the names.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever”.

Hebrews 13:8

By deeply examining the texts of Zechariah and Matthew, we see that it is Yahweh who took a body of flesh called Jesus. He promised to come (Zechariah 2: 10-13).

The prophets of the Old Testament had announced is coming (Isaiah 9: 5-6) and wished to see the Messiah: God manifested in flesh (Isaiah 63: 17-19; Psalm 144: 5-7; 1 Peter 1: 10-12).

They prophesied of the grace that would come.
“To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”

Acts 10:43

In addition, hadn't Isaiah the Prophet already prophesied that the way of the LORD was to be prepared (Isaiah 40: 1-5)?
We realize that, this prophecy has been fulfilled in the New Testament by the ministry of John the Baptist (Matthew 3: 1-3, Malachi 3: 1-18).

Jesus was born with the human nature. He was the visible and divine equation (equality) of the invisible God (Yahweh), by taking the form of a bondservant, while becoming similar to the men:

«who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,”

Philippians 2:6-9

Do you understand the Word of God? “…And being found in appearance as a man…”

God (Yahweh) Who is SPIRIT has been found in appearance as a man (1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:14) and took the name YAHSHUA, namely “GOD SAVES”.

Indeed, Jesus-Christ had a double nature: divine and human. When in front of the tomb of Lazarus, He groaned in the spirit, was troubled and wept, He was similar to the men. He proves thus His humanity (John 11: 35).
However, when a few moments afterwards, He took authority on the death, He was fully God (John 11: 43-44).

His Divinity is thus expressed though the resurrection of Lazarus. Jesus, God manifested in flesh is the Resurrection and the Life. Amen!!!
Besides, God alone knows the thoughts of the hearts. In Jesus-Christ, in his body of flesh, God demonstrated this attribute of understanding of the thoughts (2 Chronicles 6: 30; Matthew 9: 4; Jeremiah 17: 10; Luke 24: 38).
This mystery is really great and happy is the one who can seize it! AMEN!
Who is Jesus who could say that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Him? (Luke 24: 44).

Dear sister Dr. Brenice Aliyah Fireangel !

I have never said that Jesus has destroyed or abolished the Law(TORAH)

But I always teach that JESUS HAS FULFILLED THE LAW(TORAH)!

To FULFILL, what does it mean?

Here, it means "TO PERFECT".

Let us listen carefully to Jesus Christ:

"You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery. BUT I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Sister, if the Law of Jesus Christ and the Torah are alike, then tell me why He said: "...BUT I TELL YOU...?

"...BUT I TELL YOU..."

"BUT"

If the Torah and the Law of Christ are alike, then why do you teach that those who follow the law of Christ are lawless and evil doers according to Matthew 7:21-23?

Don't you see in Matthew 5:27-28 a dissimilarity between two kind of teachings, in one hand The Torah and in the other hand the Law of Christ Jesus(Galatians 6:2)?

Indeed, you've not answered my question below yet:

Sister, please tell me, If a Christian fulfils the law of Christ(the new convenant) according to which we must not look at a woman lustfully for fear of committing adultery with her in our heart, will that Christian be considered lawless or an evil doer before Jesus according to Mathew 7: 21-23?

The lawless one, THE EVIL DOER, isn’t it the one who still get stuck on the former law, the first one which has been made obsolete and aging will soon disappear (Hebrews 8:13)?

Joy in the Torah: Experiencing Delight in God’s Instruction

Ps. 1:1-2; 119:1, 11, 14, 35, 40, 70, 77

Lenore Mullican

This paper focuses on Psalm 1 and Ps 119, with particular reference to the phrase “I delight in your law.” The Psalms have had a profound effect upon people of faith from ancient Israel throughout the history of the Jewish people as well as from earliest Christianity to the present time. They have greatly influenced the worship and prayer both of individuals and their respective communities of faith. As Wilson so aptly states, “The book of Psalms—particularly those penned by David--allow us to peer into some of the deepest emotional crevices of the human heart. And in our recitation of them, the Psalms provide a vehicle for us to express our own emotions before God.”[1] Many, if not most, western Christians, however, encounter some degree of difficulty in fully identifying with scriptures that describe experiencing joy in the Torah when Torah is translated as “law.” This paper explores how the translation of Torah as “teaching” or “instruction” may prove a liberating experience as one endeavors to identify with the Psalmists’ declaration of joy and delight in the Torah.

Psalm 1 introduces the book of Psalms by making it clear that the Psalter is to be seen as instruction (Torah in v. 2) for righteous living.[2] “By placing a reference to Torah at the beginning of this canonical section, the centrality of the first part of the canon, the Torah, is reinforced.”[3] Ancient Hebrew sources compare the five books of Moses with the five books into which the Psalms are divided, thereby identifying Torah with the Psalms (Sipre 52b). Psalm 1 and Ps 119, generally categorized as wisdom psalms, give insight into the impact of religion upon the life of the community of faith. These psalms abound with expressions of delight in the Torah, of joy in following the guidance of God by walking in His ways.

Psalm 1 begins with the word ashrei (from asher, cog: yashar, kashar, to go straight, to advance) ashrei haish asher lo halakh…. Most frequently translated “blessed” the meaning of the Hebrew is happiness, blessedness. The literal meaning, “the happiness of the man” is a phrase found often in the Bible that may signify either pleasure because of material bounty, or peace and tranquility as a result of trusting God. This latter sense is the meaning in the Psalms.[4] The first verse describes a truly happy person in a negative expression, by stating what he does not habitually do. In verse two the truly happy person is described in a positive expression as one who delights in the Torah ki im betorat adonai khaftso and who meditates day and night on the Torah of The LORD ubetorato yehege yomam valailah. The Psalmist delights, not merely trusts, but takes great pleasure in the Torah. The Hebrew verb khefts, here translated “delight,” has the meaning of “taking pleasure in, desire” or “will.”[5]

Psalm 119 is generally classified as a hymn in honor of the Torah and the LORD who gives it. The longest Psalm, it contains 176 verses that form an acrostic connecting twenty-two strophes, each one consisting of eight verses. The first word of each of the eight verses begins with the same letter of the Hebrew alphabet. All twenty-two letters of the alphabet are included. Within that acrostic is another device in that the eight names or synonyms for the Torah are given within each stophe except for three verses.[6] This Psalm is a powerful devotion to the Torah and to the LORD. Every verse speaks about God or to him. The whole Psalm is devoted to the Torah of God which it mentions in almost every verse.

The word ashrei begins Psalm 119 as it does Psalm 1. This exclamation of joy and happiness sets the tone for the Psalm.[7] This psalm exemplifies the extraordinary declaration of joy which Torah brings to those who conduct their lives by its direction. In Ps 119:70b we read, “I delight in your Torah,” ani toratkha shashati, the word here translated delight comes from the root shaa. The “I” is emphasized in the Hebrew by adding the independent personal pronoun, which implies a more forceful reading as “I myself.”

The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language defines delight as “1. Great pleasure, gratification: joy. 2. Something that gives great pleasure or enjoyment.”[8] It seems incongruous to suggest Torah as a source of joy to many western Christians, whose understanding of Torah is limited by their theology that sets “the Law” in opposition to “grace” and thereby precludes any relevance of “the Law” for them. While there is a protective aspect inherent in “law,” there are also the elements of fear and restriction. “Instruction,” on the other hand, is a much friendlier term, suggesting the teaching of proper behavior in a liberating sense by providing understanding. It connotes the revealed will of God as imparted to humanity for its guidance and is not a burden but a delight. The psalmists viewed their acts of fulfilling God’s instruction as done not for merit, but as a joyful response to a loving God.

In the Hebrew Bible the word torah occurs 208 times with twelve additional times in the plural torot. From the verb yarah meaning to project, to point out or teach the Torah of God. It is that which points out his will to humanity. It is God’s instruction, his will. Torah is almost always translated “law.” The Septuagint translated the Hebrew torah as nomos in Greek which in turn was translated into the English “law” and thus it has been used almost exclusively in English translations. However, the Jewish Publication Society 1985 edition translated torah more accurately as “teaching, “teachings,” instructions,” “directions,” “ritual,” and “obligation.” but never “law.”[9] Torah is instruction or guidance for living a life of joy and of blessing. Translating torah as “law” has promoted the negative idea of burdensome legalism, while translating it as “teaching” or “instruction” promotes the positive idea of God providing guidance for humankind that contributes stability to life.

Quite striking in Psalm 119 is the use of synonyms for Torah. The Torah of the LORD is presented in every possible light. The writer passionately longs for and delights in following this revealed will of God. As Girdleston has stated, “Certainly, no student of the Psalms can doubt that the pious Israelite found the revealed will of God anything but a heavy burden or an intolerable yoke.”[10] Eight different synonyms are used and all first appear in verses 1-11.

1. In v 1 torah teaching, instruction, guidance, direction

2. In v 2 ed testimony from od to bear witness

3. In v 4 pakad precepts, a charge, to visit, appoint

4. In v 5 khok statute from khakak cut in, inscribe, decree

5. In v 6 mitsva commandment, a general term for the law of God

6. In v 7 mishpat judgment, ordinances

7. In v 9 davar word, expressed will of God

8. In v 11 imra word, a poetical variant of davar.

The purpose of the Torah is to teach, to instruct. It is not a matter of obedience to a set of rules, but acceptance of the Lord by accepting his instruction. Thus the word Torah has the basic meaning of “instruction.” As Delitzsch states in his discussion of Psalm 119 “. . .not having the notion of a fixed doctrine but that of living, empirical instruction.”[11] Israel understood her value in the eyes of God as a people who accepted God’s Torah and lovingly fulfilled it.[12] The obligations of the Torah were not that of an oppressive servitude but one of joyous service to God which led to the sanctification of the individual life.[13] Since ancient times the study of Torah has been done not only ‘to learn proper conduct and action,’ but as an act of worship as well in bringing the student closer to God.[14]

The strong sense of joy and happiness in the Torah is demonstrated by the Rabbis. In rabbinic literature we find the expression simkha shel mitsva “the joy of the commandment.” This is the requirement that commandments should be carried out with happiness, with joy. Schechter points out that the enthusiasm which the rabbinic Jew felt upon accomplishing that which he considered to be the will of God is rarely understood by theological writers. He says that this “joy of the Law” is so essential an element in the understanding of the Law, that it can never be conceived by those who have not actually experienced it either from life or from literature.[15] A formal expression of this joy is seen in the Jewish holiday of Simkhat Torah (Joy of Torah), developed in the Middle Ages to celebrate the completion of the yearly cycle of Torah readings. During the festival, the Word of God is honored with joyous singing and dancing. It is an expression in the Jewish community of one’s great love for the Torah, focusing on the joy of rejoicing with the Torah. It is a time of unrestrained joy without restrictions or a sense of burden. Frequently, in Tannaic literature, Israel is praised for its joyful acceptance of the kingdom of heaven (rule of God) at Sinai. The phrase, “Moses did as the Lord commanded him” (Num 27:22) is explained as meaning that he fulfilled the Law with joy. Another expression torah lishmah “Torah for its own sake” is found in rabbinic literature. This expressed the importance of Torah not as a means to human ends, but for its own sake.[16]

In Christianity, law and love are often taught as opposites. This was not the view of Jesus. He kept the whole Torah while at the same time living a life of love. Flusser concludes, “the Synoptic Gospels, if read through the eyes of their own time, still portray a picture of Jesus as a faithful, law observant Jew.”[17] In Matt 5:17-18 Jesus says, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.” As Bivin has pointed out, “When Jesus said, ‘Not one yod or even one “thorn” of a yod will pass from the Torah’ (Matt 5:18) he was referring to God’s Torah or ‘instruction’ given to Moses at Mt. Sinai.”[18] The yod is the smallest letter of the Hebrew alphabet and the word often translated “tittle,” is the Hebrew kotz, a decorative spur on some Hebrew letters.[19] Jesus came to fulfill God’s law not to destroy it--but what does that mean? Consistent with the NIV translation above, most English translations usually render the Greek phrase katalusai ton nomos as “to destroy the law” or to “abolish the law.” However, Bivin maintains that the Hebrew levatel is the probable Hebrew equivalent of the Greek verb. Levatel literally means “to cancel” and was a term used in scholarly rabbinic discussions of Jesus’ day as a technical term for violating a biblical commandment. According to Bivin:

When a sage felt that a colleague had misinterpreted a passage of Scripture, he would say, “You are canceling (or, uprooting) the Torah!” In other words, “You are so misinterpreting Scripture that you are negating or canceling part of it.” Needless to say, in most cases, his colleague strongly disagreed. What was “canceling” the Torah for one teacher was “fulfilling” it for another. What one encounters in Matthew 5:17-18 is a rabbinic controversy. Someone had apparently accused Jesus of “canceling” the Torah. He was being charged with so misinterpreting the Scripture as to nullify their intent. Jesus strongly denied the allegation, using the usual technical terminology for such situations (the Hebrew verbs levatel and lekayem.).[20]

Jesus was faithful to the Torah, with all its jots and tittles. According to Flusser, “He gave the Torah a humanitarian explanation, at the same time taking the view that the smallest commandment weighed as heavily as the greatest.”[21]

The Apostle Paul quotes from the law about eighty times. He speaks of the goodness of the law in Rom 7:12 “So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good,” and in Rom 7:22 “For in my inner being I delight in God’s law. Paul’s apparent negative statements with regard to the law relate primarily to his strong stand against the necessity for Gentiles to first convert to Judaism before accepting Jesus as Messiah. There is evidence, however, that Paul himself continued to adhere to the Mosaic Law in matters such as circumcision (Acts 16:3), the Nazirite vow (18:18), and purification ritual (21:20-26). Near the end of his third missionary journey, his strong desire to get to Jerusalem in time for Pentecost (20:16) is further evidence of Paul’s continued faithfulness to Judaism.[22]

In conclusion, this paper has addressed the problem that many, if not most, western Christians encounter in attempting to identify with the scriptures that describe experiencing joy in the Torah. We have suggested that translating Torah as “teaching” or “instruction” of God may prove a liberating experience as one endeavors to identify with the psalmists’ declaration of joy and delight in the Torah. Further understanding of the meaning of Torah was presented in Psalm 119’s use of synonyms for Torah: teaching, guidance, instruction, to bear witness, precepts, statutes, commandments, judgments, ordinances, word or expressed will of God. It was emphasized that Jesus was an observant Jew and that his statement regarding destroying and fulfilling the law involved idioms relating to scholarly discussions meaning to interpret the law correctly rather than incorrectly. He maintained that he validated the law by his correct interpretation.

When one meditates upon the great love of our Heavenly Father in providing instruction and guidance for our life in His holy word, gratitude demands that we respond as the psalmists with nothing less than unrestrained joy. In so doing, we acknowledge the authority of God’s word in our life and our servanthood to His will. When Torah is understood in its proper perspective, Christians can experience a deeper dimension of joy in God’s Torah.

Sir
This is the meaning of Fulfill
Matthew 5:17-19

Matt 5:17 (KJV) Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.<4137>

Yahushua tells us to not even THINK he came to destroy the law or prophets. Let alone believe it! If you say that He came and abolished the law, then you are saying He came to destroy. In fact, the dictionary defines the word "Abolish" as "To destroy completely". The meaning of fulfill here is to "obey". For instance, if I told my daughter to do something and she did it, then she has "fulfilled" or obeyed my request. Here is an instance of Yahushua fulfilling something:

Matt 8:16 (KJV) When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with [his] word, and healed all that were sick: 17 (KJV) That it might be fulfilled <4137> which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, "Himself took our infirmities, and bare [our] sicknesses." (Isa. 53:4)

You see, Yahushua fulfilled or "obeyed" the scripture that was speaking of Him. He also obeyed the law. We should do likewise. In fact, we are told to fulfill the law:

Romans 13:8 - Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Therefore, we are also to fulfill the law just as He did.

1 John 2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Continuing in Matthew 5:

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.<1096>

Now here is a little trick by the translators. They translate the word fulfill here again even though it does not come from the same Greek word as the "fulfill" above. They try to get us to believe that since Messiah fulfilled the law, that one jot and one tittle has passed from the law (or been taken away). This Greek word is translated "be" 253 times, "come to pass" 82 times and fulfilled 3 times. It is never used in reference to Yahushua fulfilling anything in the law and prophets.

Therefore the meaning of this is that not one iota of the law will pass away until everything comes to pass. Clearly there is more to come. The day will come when men will have no need for the law and prophets because the sinful nature will be no more. Until then, we all have this sinful nature that we must fight and overcome by the power of Yahushua in us. Therefore we still need the law and prophets to help guide us into the path of righteousness. Many say that we need no law now that we have Yahweh's Spirit. But truly Yahweh's words ARE Spirit and are life. (John 6:63) And surely David had Yahweh's Spirit (Psalms 51:11) and yet he still looked to the Law for guidance (e.g. Psalm 19).

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Notice here it says "these" commandments! What are "these" commandments?
The commandments found in the law and prophets!

Dear sister Brenice Aliyah Fireangel,

Truly speaking, Jesus Christ DID NOT ABOLISH BUT HE HAS FULFILLED(perfected) all the law of Moses(TORAH) as a UNIT(James 2:10-13).

Please, take time to read my blog post concerning that issue. I hope that you will see the truth and the truth will set you free!

Regarding the Law!

Jesus came to save us from the penalty of the Law..... Which is Death !

We should all be going to the second death [ the lake of fire], but the work of Jesus (Yahshua) has freed believers from this second death.

Now , to say that we should not obey the Torah is ludicrist , Jesus is TORAH
To obey Yahweh we must obey his commands, and what is his command to obey His Son's Words [Yahshua is the Word of God] EVery word which proceedeth from the mouth of God is "THE WORD, YAHSHUA"

The Torah shows sinners how they transgress, commit iniquity, do wickedness'. This will never change ! Jesus (Yahshua came to fulfill the law of sacrifice for remission of sin , the first time. He will complete his mission when He returns.)

Why do people want to refute the TORAH. This is the unchanging Word of God. We all know of Yahweh's vastness " In Part" as we move from glory to glory!

So! What is there to argue about regarding the TORAH All believers are ruled by the principals of the TORAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right?

Shalom !

I Will Tell The Truth. That Someone Don't Want You To Know: Shalom

People like you don't want to here truth. You are so afraid to believe in God that tyou makle up your own stuff. Whether you trust Him or not, TIHING IS NOT MONEY!!!!!!! There is NOT ONE scripture in the entire bible where tithing is money!!!!!! Twice in the bible tithing had to be reastablished because the was no temple and the priest to collect it. Where is the temple and were is the priest to collect it today. ( 2 Chron 31: entire chapt. and Nehe. 10:37)
We are from from the Law of death and sin. That doesn't mean you make up your own stuff to accomodate your needs. You need to read Galatians 2 and 3. God never said that the Law doesnt apply. He said that you are free from the death and sin of the Law. In others words, as the scripture reads, the Law was only written to show you are a sinners. The righteous man is not under the Law. The law was only for the sinner. But you wouldn't know that. You need to study more may brother. You can't tithe or pay your way into heaven.

God Bless

Dear brother Russell Kelly,

You said:

"Hebrews 7:12 and 7:18 says that the tithing law of Hebrews 7:5 was ANULLED. Why don't you believe God's New Covenant Word?"

I know that the tithing law prescribed in the Old Testament and the Aaronic priesthood have been abolished.

I know it!

I do not live according to the Law of Moses (Acts 15:1-29).

The born again believers live under the grace. They are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8).

I know it!

Yes, I know that the tithing law prescribed in the Old Testament and the Aaronic priesthood have been abolished.

However, I wish you would explain me the following biblical passage:

“Brothers, let me take an example from everyday life. Just as no one can set aside or add to a human covenant that has been duly established, so it is in this case. The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise”.

Galatians 3:15-17

Moreover, you said:

“The HISTORICAL Melchisedec was only such "by interpretation." Jesus' priesthood is based on eternal principles per Hebrews 7:11-19”.

According to you, “Abraham gave the tithe of the spoils of war from outside the Holy Land, to the priest-king in obedience to common Canaanite tradition”.

Who was Melchisedec to whom Abraham gave the tithe?

Who was Melchisedec to whom Levi himself gave the tithe through Abraham (Hebrews 7: 9-10)?

Can you explain me the following verse?

“And without doubt the lesser person is blessed by the greater. In the one case, the tenth is collected by men who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living”.

Hebrews 7:7-8

1- "THE TENTH IS COLLECTED BY MEN WHO DIE"

2- "BUT IN THE OTHER CASE, BY HIM WHO IS DECLARED TO BE LIVING"

Now, tell me, who were the deadly men who collect the tenth?

And, who is the One who is declared to be living who also collects the tenth?

“This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises”.

Hebrews 7:6

Who is the one who is declared to be living to whom Levi himself gave the tenth through Abraham?

“Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder!”

Hebrews 7:4

Who was Melchisedec?

Was He a gentile priest-king?

Can a gentile priest-king be the King of righteousness?

Can a gentile priest-king be the King of peace?

Who was that KING without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God he remains a priest forever (Hebrews 7:1-3)?

Please, explain me Hebrews 7:7- 8!

You assert that Abraham gave the tithe of the spoils of war from outside the Holy Land, to the priest-king in obedience to common Canaanite tradition.

Did Abraham obey Canaanite tradition?

Brother, please read the following biblical passages so that you can acknowledge better who was Abraham.

Romans 4:9-18; Galatians 3:28-29; Hebrews 11:8-10...

Indeed, the Bible declares:

“Abraham was now old and well advanced in years, and the LORD had blessed him in every way. He said to the chief servant in his household, the one in charge of all that he had, "Put your hand under my thigh. I want you to swear by the LORD, the God of heaven and the God of earth, that you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac." The servant asked him, "What if the woman is unwilling to come back with me to this land? Shall I then take your son back to the country you came from?"

Genesis 24:1-5

Indeed, Abraham said: “you will not get a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I am living, but will go to my country and my own relatives and get a wife for my son Isaac”

Abraham could never obey common Canaanite tradition and at the same time prevent his servant from getting a wife for his son from the daughters of the Canaanites among whom he was living?

Who was Melchisedec(Psalm 110:4, Heb 5:10, 6:20, 7:1-28)?

Who was Melchisedec WHO BLESSED ABRAHAM?

Who was Melchisedec to whom Abraham gave the tithe?

I’m waiting for your BIBLICAL ANSWER(not your opinion).

Blessings,

Bro. Germain

sister Altha Fugett,

Youy said:

"without compulsion or obligation " these are the key words in your question. when we become a "cheerful giver" things fall in line for us".

Let me tell you that Tithe is not for a man.

Tithe is not for a Pastor.

Dear sister, are you a daughter of Abraham?

If yes, then do as Abraham did.

Please, give the tithe by faith to MELCHISEDEC .

Please, give the tithe by faith to JESUS-CHRIST .

DO NOT ASK YOURSELF IF YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO DO SO.

Abraham and Jacob didn't ask questions!

If, it seems an obligation to you, then do not do it.

Please, tell me, are you obliged to serve God?

Are you obliged to be grateful to God as Abraham and Jacob?

Are you obliged to serve God and honour Him with your body and whatever you have?

Indeed Jacob said:

"If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear 21 so that I return safely to my father's house, then the LORD [a] will be my God 22 and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God's house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth."

Genesis 28:20-22

This has nothing to do with the Levitical priesthood (Lev. 27:30-32, Numbers 18:21-24).

This has nothing to do with the tithing law prescribed in the Old Testament.

Please do not make confusion!

This is not a law or a new doctrine.

It is simply a question of gratefulness.

The born again believer gives the tithe because he loves the Lord and because of what Christ has done for him.

We don't give the tithe to be saved. We give it because we are saved, and because we want others to be saved.

Abraham and Jacob didn't live according to the Law of Moses (Galatians 3:15-17 ).

They gave their tithe to God(Jesus Christ) freely, by faith.

Tithe is given to the Church, and Jesus is the head of the Church.

The tithe should supply(support) the needs of all the Church, all the believers and the servants of God.

Jesus is the Almighty God, the Melchizedek to whom Abraham gave the Tithe.

Jesus is the Almighty God, the Melchizedek to whom Jacob gave the Tithe.

They gave their tithe freely (by faith) to JESUS-CHRIST.

Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8)!

Indeed, Jesus said:

“Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad."

"You are not yet fifty years old," the Jews said to him, "and you have seen Abraham!"

"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

John 8:556-58

As Abraham's seed, as a son of Abraham I do what Abraham did, by faith.

The Tithe is not necessarily money.

Please, read my blog post entitled "SHOULD A PASTOR THAT SPENDS MOST OF HIS TIME PREACHING
AND TEACHING GET PAID FOR WHAT GOD HAS HIM TO DO?"

I'm not preaching money.

Indeed, Jacob said: "all that you give me I will give you a tenth."

ALL THAT YOU GIVE ME I WILL GIVE YOU A TENTH.

Abraham gave him a tenth of everything.

A TENTH OF EVERYTHING.

I’m not speaking about the law of Moses.

I’m not speaking about the tithes prescribed according to the Levitical priesthood.

But I’m referring to the tithe given by faith.

As a Son of Abraham, I’m talking about the faith and the deeds of Abraham.

TITHING IS NOT A LAW FOR CHRISTIANS,

TITHING IS NOT A LAW FOR ABRAHAM’S SEED,

BUT IT IS AN ACT OF FAITH

The tithe of Abraham and Jacob are not foreshadows of things to come in the priesthood, but a duly establised convenant before the introduction of the law 430 years later(Galatians 3:15-19).

No one can set aside or add to that convenant. It is still in force today!

We give the tithe by faith and not according to the law which was added because of transgressions 430 years later

Brothers and sisters, please,

“Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops”

Once again brother, you aren't reading, We are no longer to tithe. It's not my idea, it's God word. Hebrews 7: the entire scripture says this. Being free from the Law means that you are free from sin and death. It doesn't allow you to make up your own meanings and think it's o.k. What are you tithing and what your scriptural proof. you can't base it off of one person giving of something that wasn't his. Even when Jesus told the people to tithe, it was produce. ( Matt 23:23) And also read 1Tim 6: 1-12 about money. God ain't your pimp. No amount of money can pay Him off or get your salvation. You can't buy God, even in the way you teach tithing. Remember this scripture about a man trying to buy God; Acts 8:13-24. Stop teaching that peoples blessing are tied up in money.

God Bless

Brother,

It's good that you can qoute scripture. But as I said before, If you are going to tithe, then it needs to be as God commanded it. ( duet. 14:22-29)

it's interesting that people keep talking about tithing, but never teach it correctly. There was only one man mentioned in the bible that gave a tithe before it was established in the law. ONLY ONE. And if you read the scripture correctly, he was blessed first, then gave a tithe. Furthermore, it was a tithe and it wasn't his stuff. We have to get back to what the scriptures and stop making up our own crap. As I said before, no where in the scripture does it say that tithing was money, but we tell people to bring the money to the storehouse. Mal. 3: 10 There is so much that is taught incorrectly, but I wrote a blog on it if you would like to read it.
