Causing to Prosper

"And יהוה‎ YHWH was with Yosef, and he became a prosperous man. And he was in the house of his [Egyptian] master.... [who] saw that יהוה‎ YHWH was with [Yosef]. And all that he was doing, יהוה‎ YHWH was causing to prosper in his hand...." B'reshiyt (Genesis) 39:2-3

From the angry hands of his brothers to indentured servitude in Mitz'rayim, Yosef was nonetheless on the path toward his destiny. At home with Yis'rael, Yosef had clearly been the favorite among the sons. Now, owned by Mitz'rayim, he was receiving the favor of the Lord. Despite his troubled circumstances, "all that he was doing, יהוה‎ YHWH was causing to prosper in his hand... and he became a prosperous man... and his master saw that יהוה‎ YHWH was with [him]."

Like Yosef, we, too, may display evidence that יהוה‎ YHWH is with us-but also like Yosef, יהוה‎ YHWH's favor does not guarantee our release from unfavorable circumstances. Indeed, things may get much, much worse before they show signs of getting any better-yet this does not diminish יהוה‎ YHWH's approval of how we are living for Him. May we take solace in the favor that יהוה‎ YHWH is showing us today, even if it means waiting for our vindication and destiny just a little while longer.

I praise You, יהוה‎ YHWH, for even in the midst of undeserving trials, You are with me. Thank You for preserving me and moving me along the path to my destiny, even when it seems like I am standing still. I bless Your Name, for only You can send prosperity when oppression would otherwise abound. Show me Your ways, Abba, Father-your ways of faithfulness, security and hope...

Shalom alecheim Moreh.... Say, concerning your photo comment... do they really wear their guns as apart of their everyday wear? OMGoodness. Another thing I noticed... where are their side locks? Should their tzizit be black? I know that they wear black in mourning over the temple... btu the tzizit should always be white, correct?

Shalom, KM

Jewish Myspace Stuff

•Matthew 9:35-36

And Yahushua יְהוֹשֻׁעַ went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd.

Luke 6:6-10

(6) And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered. (7) And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him. (8) But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth. (9) Then said Yahushua יְהוֹשֻׁעַ unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it? (10) And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Today In Jewish History 2 Adar II

In 1942, Hitler devised a plan for a Museum of Judaism, to remember the dead Jewish religion, culture and people. Millions of Jewish treasures -- Torah scrolls, ritual objects, books and art -- were looted by the Nazis and taken to warehouses. In Czechoslovakia, the objects were taken to the Jewish Museum in Prague, where the Jews themselves were forced to sort, label, and pack the items for use in the Nazi's future museum. After the war, many of these items were recovered, including thousands of Torah scrolls and nearly one million books. These were distributed to Jewish communities worldwide, as a living testimony to the indestructibility of the Jewish people.

LOL, I HAD intented to just sit back, and watch...but I have never come across a more 'stiffnecked' group of people in MY LIFE...
People who have an inability to 'REASON' intelligently, prompted me to speak to their 'minds'...becuase I thought I saw them justifiying their doctrines with scripture...
That simply 'ticked' me off to no end.
And, Yes I did say a few other things in my household...ROFL. Thank goodness that this wasn't a LIVE discussion.

Shalom aleichem Moreh....
I just wanted to say Todah Rabah for working beside me on the forum. I apologize, but as I was editing the last comment, I inadvertenly deleted some of it. So in an effort to keep the content, I had to repost it from the begining.

Have also joined your yahoo group, and I look forward to receiving inspirational messages through out the day from it.

Please keep teaching truth to the masses here, I know the day is very close at hand.

Do feel free to keep me in mind though, for editing purposes, LOL...

I am quite sure those pages aren't timed...ROFL.

In the peace of Yahushua HaMasiach Nagid....

A Sign Between Us
Ki Tisa – כי תשא : “When you take”
Torah : Exodus 30:11–34:35
Haftarah : 1 Kings 18:1–39
Brit Hadasha / Gospel : Mark 13–14

Thought for the Week:
The Tabernacle was to be a holy place, a sanctuary in space where Israel could meet יהוה‎ YHWH. In the same way the Sabbath is a sanctuary in time in which we can meet with יהוה‎ YHWH.

So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. (Exodus 31:16)
