Cassandra M. Carter was born on April 25, 1958, the daughter of Shirley Hazel White and Richard Dennis. She has been working for the board of Ed. For year. Pastor Cassandra M. Carter gave her life to the Lord in May, 1983, and she has been living for the Lord every sent that day. Pastor Carter has been married to Elder Anthony G. Carter for years. They have three daughters Latasha Carter, Shirlene Carter, Joycelyn Carter, and one son Antonio Carter. They have eight grandchildren. three great grandson. One decease and they have raised five of their grandchildren.
Pastor Carter received her high school diploma Feb.1997 from Wicomico Evening High School, in Salisbury, Md. Under the leadership of Rev. Michael C. Audrey, pastor of Mt. Hope AME Zion she has completed a four year course of study and was Ordained (Rev.) in 1997 through the Philadelphia-Baltimore Annual Conference of the AME Zion Church.
Pastor Caster was a faithful member of Prayer service at Mt. Hope AME Zion under the leadership of Bishop-Elect Weldon M. Johnson. It was by him asking one small question “what do you do on Saturday night”, and form that question she begin going to prayer service. After she hear Bishop –Elect teach on the woman with the issue of blood, and have she touch hem of Jesus garment by faith. Pastor Carter receive a divine heal from a tumor, and she received her deliverance because the Lord use Bishop-Elect Johnson and many other at prayer service who did not give up on her on one special night, and she has never be the same, she is a woman who walk by faith.
Her favorite scripture is Roman 8:28 and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Her saying is “IT’S ALL GOOD”
In August 1997 she enrolled in the Christian World College of
Theology were she has received her Associate Degree in Theology in July 18, 2001.
She struggled to define herself and after spending years searching to find her mission in life. She yielded to the call of God and allowing him to mold and make her into the woman that he wanted her to be.
On February15, 1998 she began to pasturing in her home, being led by the Holy Spirit and with the blessings of her former Rev. William S. Johnson former pastor of Mt. Hope AME Zion Church at that time. In March of 1998 services were moved from her home into a building located at 398 West Main Street Crisfield, Md. For five year. In April 1998 she was ordained Elder through the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship of Maryland. In 2004 the Lord lead them to (Moon Glow Rd. , Fruitland, MD. for 2yr.) in 2005 the lord lead them to (Laurel Del for 2yr.) where she was mentor by Overseer Lean J. Wilson. With he’s blessing the Lord; lead them in 2007 to (The Holly Center in Salisbury, Md for 2 year). In 2009 Pastor Cassandra & Co-Pastor Anthony G. Carter serviced in Mappsville Va. for 1yr.
The way have not be easy for Pastors Cassandra and Anthony but because of their faith in God, and because God has build their ministry on a Solid Foundation they keep moving forward, and now God has called them to 204 Morris St Fruitland, MD. Pastor Cassandra M. Carter is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, but must of all she is a woman of Excellence……..
