About the author: Marie Calvin Williams, is a New Jersey native who is breaking into the writing business. She started writing several years ago and self-published her first book, “One Woman, Two Men and The Interference”, "Relations Without Relationships: Real love can hurt like a mutha". As a writer, she takes time to craft out her skilled abilities, to give readers what they want and need. Her sassy, yet sophisticated stylistic work of art is tasteful, mentoring, educating and delightful. She’ll definitely have you thirsty for more. Her influences evolved around talented authors such as Zora Neal Hurston, Ralph Ellison, Sonya Sanchez, just to name a few. She graduated from Philadelphia University, where she received a Bachelors of Science in educational studies and now enrolled this fall of 2009, to complete a Masters Degree. As a child she grew up in the projects, was determined to beat the streets and better herself. She quotes, “I would not change anything, because if I did not go through the storm, I would now have known how to handle the blessings that God has given me”. She currently resides in New Jersey with daughter and husband.
