Anointed Works SD Mother's Day 2014 " A Heart full of Gratefulness Prayer"

Anointed Works SD Mother's Day 2014 "A Heart Full of Gratefulness Prayer" In honor of Mother’s Day and in Honor of Mothers Everyday As we honor our mothers this day, I would like to extend a prayer of gratefulness to God for my mother and yours. You are welcome to place a picture of your mother and/ or comment in the comment boxes below. In my family the foundation of steadfast faith in God has always primarily been taught and imaged on a consistent basis by the mothers. In most cases a Mother's faith is the foundation for our own beliefs. Heavenly Father today as we celebrate our mothers, I thank You with a grateful heart for mine. Though she is no longer with us, I thank You for the honor of being her child. Whether our mothers are still on this earth or have passed over, we give You all the glory and are grateful for the time you allowed them to nurture us. We are grateful that by our mothers we are better children of God; for they not only taught us about You {God-Jesus-Holy Spirit} and the bible, but were examples of living , loving and letting the Holy Scriptures dwell within us. I am grateful that mother always loved and taught us to love Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not jealous; is not proud; is not conceited; does not act foolishly; is not selfish; is not easily provoked to anger; ... ~I Corinthians 13:4-7 Keep your love for one another at full strength, because love covers a multitude of sins. ~I Peter 4:8 I am grateful that we were taught and continue to teach Children, obey your parents in the Lord, because this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise - that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life. ~Ephesians 6:1-3 I am grateful that we know by our mother’s exemplary ways How happy is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways! You will surely eat what your hands have worked for. You will be happy, and it will go well for you...May the Lord bless you from Zion, so that you will see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life, and will see your children's children. ~Psalms 128:1-2, 5-6 I am grateful that Mother was a “virtuous woman”, these same words of scripture were spoken at her home going; let me honor You O’ God and my mother and let these words of goodness, holiness and virtue ring true at my own home going Who can find a virtuous woman? She is far more precious than jewels... Strength and honor are her clothing, and she can laugh at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and loving instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the activities of her household and is never idle. Her sons rise up and call her blessed. He husband also praises her: Many women are capable, but you surpass them all! Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised. ~Proverbs 31:10, 25-30 Finally brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of a good report - if there is any virtue and if there is any praise- think on these things. ~Philippians 4:8 O’ Lord God we honor our mothers today and we honor You, Grateful for whom You chose to instill Your Word in us; to shower love upon us; to protect and teach us Your ways. I am grateful for you providing other women to come into our lives who show us the same Mother’s love for this is truly a blessing upon a blessing. Let this day be a day of joyful praise and gratefulness, In Jesus’ Name Amen. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to my God upon every remembrance of you. ~Philippians 1:2-3 Prophetess Sandra Dukes, Annie’s Daughter
